If he comes to Portland for the summer you know Dame will help him with his shooting.

Apparently I can't insult the post or the poster. Did the rules change?
You started off trying to keep within the rules but then you said fuck it and posted this, "you're just being a dick."
Also we don't need you and @STOMP derailing the thread.
Gerald Wallace was my favorite non blazer before he got traded to Portland, so I’m comfortable in speaking about his game and how it compares to Little. Gerald was an absolute monster on defense in his prime with the bobcats. He was good on the ball and off the ball. Offensively he relied heavily on athleticism and wasn’t the most “skilled.” He was an awful shooter in college (56% FT, 11% 3PT) and didn’t get much better in the league.
As far as Little goes I’d say he’s a little overrated defensively while being underrated offensively. I don’t know if he’ll ever get near Wallace on defense, but I do think his ceiling is much higher on the other end.
That's not what I said at all.
I said "you're just being a dick to a guy for no good reason."
That's a completely different statement!
Yes, and it's still a personal insult.
I'm hoping you and @STOMP start some sort of a rap battle like Dame and Bagley.
You can't stop me Sly. If you strike me down I will come back more powerful than you can possibly imagine.
Why didn't Dame help Harkless or Aminu out with their shooting? If he comes to Portland for the summer you know Dame will help him with his shooting.

Somewhat playing devil's advocate here, but they were both drafted much higher then Little and I'm sure that optimism abounded from their respective fanbases when they were drafted and that their profiles noted them not being strong outside threats. I'm sure they've both shot countless jumpers trying to improve this obvious weakness. It's my observation that it's far from a given that a player can develop a consistent J in the league, but here's hoping that Nassir proves to be one of those who can.

It's true for everyone in every draft, there's no guarantee's, there are some who you have more confidence in than others.Yeah that is pretty accurate. That is why there are so many high draft picks that never end up reaching their lofty expectations. Year after year we see it.
You never know who improves and who doesn't.
MKG's shot was trash though. I don't think they compare
Lol, you're on my barefoot measurement soapbox! But while it's true that Little only measured 6'4.5", his 7'1.25" wingspan & 8'8.5" standing reach are good measurements for a SF and probably more important for him matching up size wise at the 3. The 10" width hands and solid athletic testing numbers are nice too.

Shawn Marion at UNLV (after transferring from a Junior College) : 6'7, 215, 7'1 wingspan

Little at UNC (age 18): 6'6, 220, 7'1 wingspan

Marion also 3 yrs older at UNLVI see the similarities, but Matrix was much better. Look at those defensive and turnover stats. Cements the thought that Little BBIQ is low. Everyone knows this, but he's a project...

Not saying there aren't similarities. But I mentioned in the draft thread, by the time Little is ready to contribute Dame will be on the decline.
I can't see him contributing until the end of his rookie deal. Almost tempted to just throw him into the fire this season in a token starter role ALA Nic Batum.
I mean fuck it, Nic was also drafted 25, looked awful in SL (like 2 years away from being 2 years away), and somehow became a contributor in year 1.
Nico was really solid defensively and never got lost on that end of the floor. I think that tends to be the barrier for most young guys to getting PT in their rookie years. If Little can play defense and understand our schemes, he will play. Not saying there aren't similarities. Kawhi was always gonna be Kawhi.Okay, fine you talked me into it. Let's send Little to San Antonio for a few years. Pops can turn him into the next Kawhi and then send him back to us. Because turning low draft picks into great players is what SA does.
