Doubt it. Dwight's a big dude, and he looks lean and strong as hell. We'll see when the Blazers go up against the Magic

Of course a 35 year old Oden is stronger.

It says "more powerful", not stronger. Dwight's more powerful, sorry to break it to ya.

Back in his ABA days, I saw Oden push Artis Gilmore out of the way like he was shooing a fly.

What does that Oden video prove? It shows nothing.

I probably just should've told you to look up "Dwight Howard power" on youtube. That video only has a few power dunks, and not really any where the player's trying to hack or pull him down.

You showed a video of the guy just working out, at least I showed videos of him dunking powerfully. Thats summer league last year, before he worked out like a madman getting stronger.

Strong (definition provided by Merriam-Webster)-

1: having or marked by great physical power

Powerful-

1 : having great power, prestige, or influence

That video was showing how Oden looks now. Not that much different, really.

You're showing a video of a guy getting easy dunks against weak summer league competition. I'm showing you videos of a guy getting abused by players in the post, hacked, and still powering down dunks...against NBA competition.

Oden proves nothing against D-League talent, we'll see how he plays but his great ABA days are well behind him...Right now i would say that Dwight is more powerful and explosive as he has clearly proved it in the NBA and internationally.

Well I think I would listen to a guy who actually has seen both of them play recently even if it is his own coach

Thanks, but I'd rather listen to someone unbiased, or watch both of them play and then make a good judgement

By the Way,

I don't even know if Oden is more powerful or not, I just think its ridiculous people think its unfathomable he could be stronger than Howard

McMillan wouldn't want to say that Dwight is stronger or more powerful, he's backing up his player but in the end it comes down to the players, not who coaches them

Your right, but he could have just said nothing on the topic if he felt that way

I want to see it, but I wouldn't put it past Oden. The stories of his workout regimen and recovery from the injury have been impressive. I heard he put on somethingl like 20 pounds of muscle since the injury, and he was already a pretty built guy coming out of college.

who cares, they're different players! completely different. Oden, from what ive seen, is a much more defensive player than dwight, so being "stronger" or more "powerful" has nothing to do with it, it's all skill. I dont think you can make the argument for either of them because, oden hasnt even played before, and dwight hasnt been playing very long either. They will both be great in their own right, of course dwight will, but we havent seen oden yet, but mostlikely he will be a really good defensive center, and a good scorer too. oden reminds me of shaq, where as dwight reminds me of Duncan, more finese you know, more emphasis on footwork. oden is just a huge, huge guy who you cant contain the whole time, as dwight is sometimes, but he is still only 6'11", if that, and has a much smaller frame than oden, yes he has big shoulders and muscles, but his torso and hips and legs arent wide like odens, like shaqs, etc.
