i find it hard to believe TO was thinking about getting it off with that much time left. he's a reaction type of player, to me he saw the lane and took it. nothing about TO's game says thinking man to me. glad he made it, and AI was off.

If you take the first "good shot" and make it, they will do the same. You still will probably have time for another possession. (2 seconds is an enternity)
However if you miss the shot and they rebound, then you foul and you still have plenty of time to tie with a three. Why wait too long and take a chance for someone coming over and tripple teaming you and never getting a shot off? Shooting quick has better odds.

so what do you think about the strategy that Detroit should foul if up three with around 2 seconds to go?

By the way that shamwow guy scares the shit out me. Just a freaky looking and sounding dude

"Are you with me Camera guy?" and "You're going to love my nuts" are the two best things ever uttered on TV, thanks to the Slam-Chop guy.

I would prefer Rudy have the ball at the end of the game if it's not Roy. Although Travis has hit some big shots and can almost always get his shot off. Bad coaching by Curry last night. First he should have had Prince on Travis and Prince should have taken that last shot.

Rudy had his chance. He had a game tying three against Utah and he missed it.

I disagree. Last year, against Atlanta, the score was tied and so Travis milked the entire clock before hitting the game winner. He knew what he was doing then and he knew what he was doing last night.

As for LMA, he had gone cold in those final minutes. Otherwise, I wouldn't have had a problem to going with LMA who hit a game winning shot last season on one of my road trips. Milwaukee, I think? Maybe Minnesota? Baseline jumper. But like I said, since LMA was cold, going to TO was the obvious choice for me last night. He'd done it before many times and he did it again.

That picture of Travis taking the last show is awesome, by the way. He is soo high up. Amazing.
