I loved that Wallace video except for the first 20 seconds. It's the first 20 seconds I fear as a Blazer fan.

This vid is made by me :ghoti:

only two highlights is not from this year . block OJ , dunk on Oden :biglaugh:

Wallace didn't wear a headband. Put it back on, Crash!

That's why we lost last night! I think the whole god damned team should rock one tomorrow night.

JQuick's tweet:

Coach Nate McMillan has dropped his ban on head bands for new Blazer Gerald Wallace. "He wears one; it's not a big deal."

Hmmm...Gerald didn't wear one last night in his debut. The Nate quote above may have a different meaning, for example: "He wears one; it shouldn't be a big deal if he doesn't wear a headband now that he is under my rules." :)

According to Blazersedge, in regard to playing without a headband last night, Crash said:
I tried it but I don't think that's going to work. I didn't even feel like myself out there. We're going to have to have a meeting about that. I felt like I was missing something.

So it actually sounds like somebody told him, or at least suggested, that he not wear a headband. It's interesting as Wallace's quote contradicts Quick's tweet.

"If it'll make you play better and calm you down, you can wear 2 headbands," said Nate on Courtside. He said he will talk to Gerald about it, though.

Just further proves that Quick is clueless and his "sources" suck.

If any statement contradicts Quick's, it is correct. It's like a litmus test for legitimacy. Quick makes Canzano look well-informed.

Maybe Nate said it was OK, but Wallace chose not to so as to not rock the boat.

Just further proves that Quick is clueless and his "sources" suck.

Or, Quick asked Nate about the headband, and Nate said he didn't care if Wallace wore it.

I highly doubt that conversations about headbands were at the top of the list went Nate was talking to Wallace about the game plan.

So, Nate doesn't care, but this is never communicated to Wallace, who is probably told by someone about the stupid headband ban.

A headband would rock the boat?

The new guy doesn't want to come in and be treated differently. The guys that have been around respect Nate and do what he says, if the new guy can do what he wants he might not be accepted as easily.

Wallace is one of those players who's always worn a headband. It adds a lot to his lunchpail image.
