...and another reason why the Yanx should have made a move at the deadline.

Haven't we been down this road before concerning acquiring a SP "pitcher" at the deadline? Yanks obviously didn't believe it was worth giving up anything in a deal for a mediocre "veteran" SP pitcher and wasn't an upgrade over in house options and I'm thinking Warren or Mitchell - not Capuano.
We'll see what happens. ????
It's a downward spiral which could have potentially been avoided with an adequate GM... but alas, we don't have oneThe real problem all year is the fragility of this pitching staff and the fact that they don't give innings which puts a constant strain on the bullpen. Now you have to fill in with a bullpen piece with the hope that not only does another starter not go down but that they can actually start preserving this bullpen. You can see it with Betances and Miller as clear as day. They're getting tired and Warren has been a valuable piece in the pen. You take him out again to start I think it does more harm then perhaps having Mitchell start. The bottom line is that in some of these starts they need to get at least 7 innings out of these guys. You cannot constantly we into the pen in the fifth and sixth inning all the way down the line here.

...I agree about Warren...a little late now to recondition him for a starting role...but he should have never been removed from the rotation in the first place.
Dam cashman for not taking his own money and put it in the Yankees account to buy a vet pitcher for the PS, and dam long a lifetime bat avg 240 hitter for not turning every Yankee hitter into Ted Williams, Dam them all!!!!
Take your stinking dirty hands off me, you dam stinking ape!
