LA does not put the ball on the floor like that :)

I feel like basketball games have hit a wall. The graphics look pretty much the same for the last four or five years.

In the last five years, there have been exactly zero improvements in the console space, so yeah, I'd expect this.

If you honestly have nothing better to spend your money on than a new two-slot graphics card, then yes, PC > Consoles.

Buying 2k12 2 months after it came out for 10 bucks is pretty nice too.

Enthusiastic PC Gamer is now having a conversation with himself... :ghoti:

Hey, i have all of the current consoles too :ghoti:

Also, i'm trying to get to 1,800 posts.

I realized you were the guy in Klamath... by all means, please enjoy every video game to its fullest! Lord knows there's nothing there to enjoy.

He puts it on the floor like that and puts up a hook shot in the paint. Did it all year.

The average age of a "gamer" is like 30. So no, not really. As time goes on people who grew up with video games will continue to play, so I wouldn't be surprised to see that number go up a little.

I stand by my opinion. I'm only 20, I stopped playing video games a couple years ago. There are a lot more worthwhile things to do with the time I would spend playing video games.

Ok, well I was just letting you know your opinion is factually incorrect. nbd

Actually it's not.. I didn't say that only children play video games, or that the average age of a "gamer" is that of a child. I said "Video games are for children," which is entirely my opinion, and cannot be factually proven incorrect.

It's implying that video games are intended for children. That could be proven wrong by visiting marketing/development meetings for any game or game console.

What you're getting at is that it's immature for "non-children" (read: adults) to play games even if that's what "they" find fun, so I'd probably just say that instead. But then yeah, I see, you'd get called out more, but it's cool you can tell your friends your critiques of other peoples lifes while you're doing more "worthwhile" things like judging people and er, saving the world.

Lol, this thread blows and should be moved so I don't have to read innane opinions (Edit: non-basketball related opinions).

But damn, now that I chimed in I actually have to respond to the thread.

I've always wished Aldridge would put the ball on the floor more, like Stoudemire because they we could have a real pick and roll attack besides alley-oops. Maybe in the future...hopefully.

I didn't say nor imply anything about people being immature for playing video games.. I'm sorry you guys got so butt hurt from my five word post that you didn't have to read or respond to. Jesus lol if you're adults grow a fucking pair and don't act like children.

I agree, actually. It is a waste of time, but shit, people find different things fun - that's all I was getting at. That and your 5 word comment was... lacking... considering how boldacious of a statement something like that is.

After a long session of Skyrim on my disgustingly underpowered Xbox 360, I like to curl up and read ten or twenty pages of Proust. No, really. Anthony Powell is next on my reading list. And then New Super Mario Bros 3D.
