CPU shooting at Superstar is way over the top. Problem is, if I change the sliders it becomes too easy (looked okay for a while yesterday but I was already going 10 up against Cavs without breaking a sweat after a while). I think I will stick with Superstar as it forces me to learn defense but it is way harder than last year. I will struggle to win games for a while but it will get better

I hate it when I cannot choose difficulty level for a sports game.

This game has gotten killed on Steam for the microtransactions.

A $60 game should never have microtransactions.

What is a microtransaction? I just lost a regular season game, by the way. 2k18 is harder than 17.

I don't think so. There's always an adjustment period between games. You'll get better. Just stop playing on bullshit level. Play on at least all star.

I can appreciate how they tried to fix the diving on this game but it STILL SUCKS.

And they still have yet to fix the backcourt call glitch. I was laying on the line and they called back court on me.

Bucks are incredible in this game. I took them in MyLeague and traded Monroe, Teletovic and 2020 first round pick for DeAndre Jordan and am killing it with Brogdon, Middleton, Antetokounmpo, Parker, Jordan lineup. I need 1-2 more prospects to develop along with Brogdon, Wilson and Maker.

@BonesJones and anyone else can you try this and tell me if it works? There are a few things I don't know how to do like when he says to switch accounts and also checking my network connection.

Anyone still playing?

I've wanted to take on a rebuilding job somewhere for a while but couldn't figure out which team. I tried with Phoenix Suns and while it was fun, I just couldn't get into it. I've played a lot with 76ers which is fun but I wanted a team where I would have zero cornerstones for the future and I'd need to rely on whoever I would manage to pick up in the 2018 draft, so I tried Memphis and it turned out absolutely perfect. I used Start Today to get a realistic draft order, and tanked the last few games of 2018 regular season to get myself a no. 2 pick.

Selected Doncic with no. 2 as my future cornerstone, then traded Mike Conley to Knicks for no. 8 and selected Jaren Jackson Jr (I had an opportunity to swap no. 8 and future first for Bagley but I actually preferred Jackson who is a more well-rounded player). I dithered for a while about swapping Gasol for Nets pick with Cavaliers and taking one of Porter or Bamba but then decided that I really needed some experience in my team and also Gasol is plenty fun to play with. Then I traded two second round picks for no. 25 with Portland and got Chandler Hutchinson, and gave one-year extension for $25M to Evans (I am aiming for 2019 FA so will need a lot of cap then) and traded McLemore + 2021 unprotected first for Bogdan Bogdanovic. I've not had this much fun with a team for a while.

Doncic / Harrison
Evans / Hutchinson / Selden
Bogdanovic / Brooks / Parsons
Jackson / Martin / Rabb
Gasol / Davis

Anyone ever done a full rebuild?

I'm 28-17 right now, I think. 3rd in West. As Blazers.

Starters are Dame, Korver, Marcus Morris, Blake Griffin, and DeAndre Jordan. Bench is Tyler Lydian, Lance Galloway, Willie Reed, Terry Rozier, and WB4.

Why did you make your team worse than the one you started with?

At Blazers I am only making small moves. The core of Dame, CJ and Nurkic is good enough, Collins develops nicely after a couple of years. I usually go for Miles Bridges from the draft as he fits the team perfectly.

Of course. I'm on like my 3rd season.

What level King. What difficulty level?

I KILL with CJ. He's WET on the game. Especially on catch an shoot jumpers.

I like to do an expansion team occasionally. Draft the youngest team I can, tank for the first year, and try to win it all year 2.

What have you done?

Started assosiation this morning with Blazers

Simmed till the offseason. Let Layman, Connaughton, and Baldwin walk. Kept Papagianis. Offered Nurk and Napier qualifying offers. Davis wanted to explore free agency.

Draft night I traded Turner to the sixers for TJ McConnell and the 22nd pick in the draft.

Traded Meyers to the Bucks for Teletovic and a '19 2nd rounder.

Drafted Luka Doncic and Mikal Bridges

Let the draft finish and saved so I could get to work.

After work I am going to sign Hezonja, resign Napier, Davis, and Nurk.

Anyways thats

Lillard\Napier\MCconnell
McCollum\Doncic\Bridges
Harkless\Henzonja/Doncic
Aminu//Collins/Swanigan\Teletovic
Nurkic/Davis/Papagiannis

*Also on draft night I explored a three team trade with the Magic and Wizards trying to net Johnathon Simmons and Kelly Oubre but for lack of time couldn't come to an agreement.

I have begun two new additional saves, both starting from today and going straight to the draft.

Took Clippers and drafted Trae Young and Miles Bridges at 12 and 13.

Took Suns, did a lot of trades and drafted Ayton at 1, Young at 8 (packaged Miami no. 15 and future picks to trade with New York) and Knox at 15. I picked up Melo on a one year $26M deal just as an option. Young/Booker with Ayton is a killer line up.

That sounds cool. I might try that but on a shorter season (I never play all 82 full games though. I sim some of them or partly sim).

So I didnt trade for Mcconnel but for a 1st and a 2nd both '19. I did resign Davis, Nurk, and Bazz as well as traded Teletovic and a 1st for Hezonja and Simmons

So:

Lillard/CJ\Napier
CJ/Doncic\Bridges
Harkless/Hezonja/Simmons
Collins\Aminu\Swanigan
Nurk\Davis\Papagiannis
