Looks like the Draft is Nov 18th and the free agency window opens a couple days after. This is going to be weird. Weakest draft in decades.

Why do we have to wait a month after the season ends for the draft, when its usually only a week or so wait.

Probably because they have to have that "adjusted" CBA done first.

I am glad. Golden State is going to be tough enough to catch up with. If it were a strong draft and they added a franchise player on an affordable contract, it would take all of our young players fully developing.

Utah Jazz sell to Ryan Smith local hight tech guru.

I'm gonna cancel my tickets.

Blazers are abusing this situation and taking advantage of their loyal customers. Im pretty disgusted currently by the stance of either keep paying to an unknown outcome or lose your rights to the seats.

Bunch of crap.

Frankly, I don't believe anything coming out of Silver's office right now. Even if they actually go forward with the draft as scheduled they still need to leave time for trades and FA. If we are less than 60 days from season beginning, why aren't teams being allowed to make roster moves?

Because the salary cap hasn’t been agreed to and nobody knows what the ground rules are yet.

Perhaps, but you will notice that none of that interfered with the sale of the Jazz. The League and owners seem quite capable of moving things along when they want to.

All the 'ground rules' require the Players association to agree to it.

There are significantly more people involved in the process. When more people have voices, the slower decisions are made.

I'm all for it but they have to seat fans.
