Brandon Roy
Roy, in just his third season, has the least experience of any player in our Top 10. Still, he's the centerpiece of a young and talented Trail Blazers team which, at 45-27, is one game behind the Nuggets for the Northwest Division lead.

Roy is averaging a career-best 23 points per game and shooting a career-high .478. The only thing that is preventing Roy from being in the top five is time. If he keeps improving, his name will be mentioned among the league's best.

Roy has by far exceeded every expectation I ever had of him. I don't know that he has a lot more statistical improvement ahead of him, but if he can really step up his defense in the next year or two I think it's fair to say you have to start mentioning him when discussing top five players in the league.

I wonder if he's got a fifty-forty-ninety season in him?

Let me guess: Fifty from the field, Forty from three, and Ninety from the line?

Oh, haha. Most likely that's what he meant. I was thinking 50 points, 40 rebounds, 90 assists.
