BUTLER... carried the wizards this past season... worst trade ever:

kwame brown for butler...

I had Butler pretty high on my list. He was a true All-Star last year and he still seems to be improving. He proved a lot to me last season.

Vince Carter really?

That makes me look like a genius for taking _hel__ _il__am_ in the second round last year (
)

Damn.

When they're picked, I'd like to know who they are.

I don't think you guys know how good a player Butler is. This just proves the point that he's one of the most under-rated players in the league.

As they're picked, I'll let you know.

You were better off picking up his girlfriend.

umm anyone want my spot, my house is getting work done and i cant be on during the day and i dont want to hold it up.

what happened with lavalamp? hes usually on like every minute of every day

When it's somebody's turn, is it permitable for them to say something like 'i'm thinking about taking this player' (before officially making the pick) to garner interest in the pick? - if that's a player somebody else really wanted then they could explore trade opportunities.

they probably wouldn't believe you, or you would just make the pick and then work on a trade.

Dead serious, I was thinking of doing that. I don't think we're against it - isn't that what teams do in the NBA?

Think Chicago - they wanted Tyrus, had a pick ahead of Portland. Portland wanted LaMarcus, so Chi picked him and had Portland pick Tyrus so they could trade LaMarcus to Portland for Tyrus and get something else from them. Is that how it worked out?

lol yea I know, but I was at a friend`s place and I knew I was 2 picks away when I left but I once I got there I totally didn`t think of checking or anything.

As well, I kind of thought I traded the pick away before I left, but the deal fell through.

I`m still willing to trade my 1st round pick if anyone isn`t picking again till the mid-late 2nd round, and wants to get a top 30 player instead of a top 60 player.

I wonder if he's the same guy I picked last year...

i have 3 guys in mind... which would make sense cuz 2 guys pick infront of me... soooooo at least 1 of my choices has a chance to drop to me

ok well, he`s 26. He averaged 21.1 ppg with a FG% of 54.7%, 10.4 rpg, 2.9 apg, 0.5 bpg.

lol yep. I've always liked what he brings, a tough rebounder and gets position and even finds teammates for a good number of open looks.

I`m also guessing it wasn`t danxcr`s pick.

nice pick, i like the idea of starting the team with a big man as well unless you get to land someone in the class of bron, paul, kobe etc

great pick...
i thought he woulda been gone by now... but great pick

Not one of my favorites, but he's a pretty good pickup.
