I was about to take Wright instead of Thabo, so he was a good pick. You need to move Randolph to your bench and move Murphy to PF, start Pedro at center.
 
Im for the idea for Petro starting, im gonna put in the starting lineup but Randolph I think should start, I don't think he would like being a 6th either lol but I like a guy like Murphy coming off the bench more. In 2k8 I always have him as the 6th lol

Haha. I actually like ol' Bogans, but for some reason when I read this pick it made me feel like this signals the beginning of the "f it I'll just take any random scrub" portion of the draft.

I could almost see pegs going " Whatever. I'm not wasting any more time on this. Keith Bogans! Great!"

I like Bogans, too, and I know he'll get more minutes this year with Evans gone.

But this draft sucked for the sole fact that I traded away picks and I have to wait forever to pick.

I looked at him with my last pick, but went with Marquis.

I like Damien, he's made it a lot further than I would have ever imagined.

I was shocked to see him in the NBA playing well after watching him @ UGA.

(His uncle is awesome...his dad...not so much.)

I didn't even think about him, but if I hadda choose between the 2, I would've picked Marquis.
 
Damien has been on my list for awhile, along with 30 other players, but I was hoping he would drop a little later, because...quite frankly I hoped you all forgot about him :D

Solid player, don't know much about his defensive game to be honest with you, but offensively the man can do it.
 
do personal messages automatically show up on the screen with this new site? I remember it did on the last site and I really liked it. Can I set it for pms to automatically pop up?
 
You can set them to popup. See your User CP for the settings link/page.

Last I knew, his defensive game was okay. But I haven't watched him in 1-2 seasons, so I haven't a clue.

Wizards Suspend Kwame Brown During Playoffs
The Washington Wizards suspended forward Kwame Brown on Tuesday for the remainder of the playoffs.

The announcement came after Brown, coach Eddie Jordan and president of basketball operations Ernie Grunfeld met for about 10 minutes before the team's practice.

"We had some philosophical differences," Grunfeld said, "and we're putting those behind us and focusing on the job at hand."

Brown won't travel with the team or participate in any practices for the remainder of the season. The Wizards are tied with the Chicago Bulls 2-2 in their Eastern Conference first-round series. Game 5 is Wednesday in Chicago.

"We're not going to get into specifics. We're going to do things a certain way. These players are committed to that," said Grunfeld, referring to the remaining players on the roster. "And those are the type of players we want around us."

Late in the season, criticism increased; Brown feuded with Gilbert Arenas, other teammates, and his coach Eddie Jordan. The local press did little to help the situation, and he became even less popular with fans.

During the first round of the 2005 playoffs, in which they played against the Chicago Bulls, the Wizards played a video before their first game of the series, in which Arenas instructed the fans not to boo Brown when he entered the game. In the next several days after the game, Brown skipped a practice and a shootaround, as well as the next game, claiming that he thought he would punch Arenas if he entered the game. Kwame Brown Out Late During Lakers/Suns Series, Accused of Raping Woman
LOS ANGELES -- Police are investigating sexual assault allegations against Los Angeles center Kwame Brown, who started in the Lakers' playoff game Tuesday night against Phoenix shortly after releasing a statement proclaiming his innocence.

The alleged assault occurred early Saturday, hours after the Lakers beat the Suns in Game 3 of their NBA playoff series, Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Jason Lee said Tuesday.

Police did not say when the report was filed or by whom. No charges have been filed, and Brown denied any wrongdoing in a statement issued through the team office Tuesday night.

"I want to assure everyone that I am completely innocent of any wrongdoing and look forward to the truth coming out when this matter is fully investigated," he said. "However, on the advice of my attorney, I cannot comment further at this time."

The 24-year-old Brown started the game in Phoenix, where the Lakers lost but still hold a 3-2 advantage over the Suns. Brown scored 14 points on 6-for-6 shooting, but was plagued by foul trouble.

"We are aware of the release issued earlier today by the LAPD," the Lakers said in a statement. "However, due to the fact that this is an ongoing legal matter, we cannot comment at this time."

Lee said the Los Angeles County district attorney's office had been made aware of the investigation, but declined to provide further details.

Los Angeles coach Phil Jackson said before the game that he had spoken with Brown about the matter.

"I did say something to Kwame: 'You know we have three priorities -- basketball, basketball and family. That's it.'"

Kwame Brown Steals a Cake, Throws It at the Guy, Speeds Off in Limo
HERMOSA BEACH, Calif. -- A man walking down the street at bar-closing time with a $190 cake in his arms claimed Los Angeles Lakers center Kwame Brown swiped his birthday treat.

But authorities said the cake caper won't be prosecuted.

In a police report, Alexander Martinez said he left his 30th birthday celebration at the Shore Restaurant and Lounge at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday with the uneaten 2-by-2-foot cake and walked north toward the Blue 32 nightclub.

Martinez told police he first came upon Lakers forward Ronny Turiaf, who he said agreed to pose for a photograph with him and the chocolate cake.

But outside of Blue 32, the 6-foot-11, 270-pound Brown came along, grabbed the cake and threw it at Martinez, according to the report. Brown got into a white limousine and left, Martinez claimed in the report, although he didn't suggest any reason for the cake toss.

Kwame Brown Arrested, Disruptive With Police, Charged on Two Counts
Early on Saturday, September 29, 2007, Brown was arrested after his cousin Charles Warren Jr. was pulled over by police and charged in Valdosta, Georgia after being caught driving the opposite direction down a one-way street. A police spokesperson said that during the investigation, Brown told police the car belonged to him and that he was not in the vehicle at the time of the incident. He became disruptive and tried to interfere with the inquiry. Brown was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police investigation.

Phil Jackson: Kwame Brown Complaining is "Not Unusual"
Kwame Brown briefly practiced Thursday though he won't play tonight against Indiana and probably won't play Saturday against Washington, Phil Jackson told the Los Angeles Times. Brown is coming back slowly from an ankle injury. "He's complaining, but that's not unusual," Jackson said.
