I'm a big fan of Redd, hes a good defender and can shoot the ball pretty well. He is a good guy too, so hes a pretty good team mate. I think he and Melo will complement each other well.

yea that was my only worry i wasn't sure about that I don't know a lot about Redd except he has a funky lefty release, thanks for the info though.

I don't know what league you guys have been watching but I saw a decent amount of the Buck's games last year and Redd is a good perimeter defender. No, hes not great but he is solid.

I think he's an excellent player.

I'm comparing him to -say - Kevin Durant, and I think he doesn't come out so well.
 
I don't think Redd is a great teammate. I think he is kind of a glory hog.

I was seriously considering it. Prince is a great player.
 
Redd would make a nice piece alongside LeBron because LeBron will still carry the team regardless of Redd's shortcomings on defense.

Or he would make a nice draw for a 25-30 win team with fans looking for a ray of hope, which he has been doing for the past four years now.
 
Mredd cant pass....


He gets double teamed then shoots it. Yes, he can get hot.. but a true star would always take advantage of the best case scenerio.

E.g, when lebron gets doubled, tripled he would always look to make a play, but from the games I saw of the bucks, Redd just shoots it.


Carmelo isnt that much of a passer, although you could argue that they could play a somewhat 1 2 punch sorta game.
 
I'll be away on a short trip ( to watch team USA in Macau!!) PM for trades if you are willing to give up a late 2nd round or early 3rd round.

Michael Redd is a good perimeter defender? Right, the same way Dwight Howard is a good free throw shooter

in my nba 2k8... howard shoots 85% and thats on legends!!! so i have to time it exactly rite
 
damn i think i wanna swap redd for like a pick or something in a trade. anyone have any interest in him?
 
I made the mistake of drafting Redd last year. I think he is a great offensive player, and yeah his defense sucks, but he can drain the long ball. People didn't like my team last year because of Arenas, Redd etc. So I knew the same people voting wouldn't think of voting for a team with Redd on it unless the other starters were amazing.
