Butler didn't drop at all, IMO he went earlier than he was supposed to.

Bogut?! Uh oh...


Lewis was a great pick, he fell a tiny bit. Bogut's a solid pick, too.

Lewis, Bogut, Boozer...wow, that's not a bad an offensive group.
 
I'm new to this whole GM Draft thing, so yeah...I was looking at the older moves lava did like trading Joe Johnson away, which bummed me out cause I like him, but it gave me two picks fairly close to each other, and I decided to just shore up that frontline of guys. I mean check out the height of the C to the SF. I was hesitant on Bogut and Rashard, for some reason I felt like I could get one of them later, but with both players they also can be picked by the time my next pick comes, so I decided not to risk it.

Yeah, I'm still trying to decide if I made a mistake with the Biedrins over Kaman thing. I was really close between the two. I almost PM-ed cpaw telling him to flip a coin and pick one.

Hard to be too angry with a Kobe-Deng-Biedrins core though, I think.

Why? Redd and Melo fit together nicely. You just need someone who will get them the ball, because lord knows they won't be passing.

Why? Redd and Melo fit together nicely. You just need someone who will get them the ball, because lord knows they won't be passing.

Yeah, other than that Melo is a top 10, maybe top 15 overall in the world, Redd one of the best shooters in the league, get a good PG and a good C and you're set.

I wanted Butler or Jamison, but since Lava's pick got skipped I couldn't get Jamison...so now I have what I have

Butler didn't drop. Kaman would've been a better choice than Biedrins. Bogut was a very strong pick.

I would have taken Butler over Vince Carter.

Therefore, Butler should have gone 2nd.

Don't see how that's relevant since CK said he went earlier than he should have. I think I took him right when he should have been selected. But anyway:

Vince Carter
Tracy McGrady
Andre Iguodala

are the only three I would have definitely selected Butler ahead of.
