I picked the best player available to fill a role on my team, and I'm quite satisfied with the pick. I also passed up ZBo, because he wouldn't fill that role. Nobody's saying ZBo is anything but ~100th best player in the league, which is about right.

I'm not even going to respond to you anymore, because you're just constantly looking to find anything to take shots at my team.

</div>

This late in the draft, ZBo was a fine pick, but you had to dump on it and him.
</div>

Sounds like it's your opinion that it was a fine pick.

I didn't dump on CK. I dumped on his pick. I didn't say "HEY CK YOU SO STUPID FOR TAKIN ZBO LOLZ." I've given my fair share of plaudits for picks in this thread also. I don't go around bashing picks only.

And remember, ZBO was the main man on those teams. My players were not.

CK:

I don't hate Zach Randolph. He is just not a good player. Tell me this. How many pieces have you seen or how many people have praised Zach Randolph compared to trashing him?

The guy is a black hole on offense. He gets the ball in the post and doesn't pass out, or will take a ridiculously stupid shot. He's a bad locker room influence, with legal troubles. He needs the ball to do anything on offensive, and has an ego that forces him to be a main option. With Dwyane Wade, someone who needs the ball in his hands to be effective, that's just not going to work.

I hope you don't reply to me that he plays good defense.

</div>

Agreed. Zach's 20 and 10 are irrelevant. There is a difference between being a talented player and a good player. Randolph is the most selfish player in the NBA, and it's not even close. He is a ball stopper with an inflated ego. He will never pass out of the post. That won't change just because Dwyane Wade is on his team. He's a terrible locker room presence and teammate. He's a thug. He is a plodder and a lazy defender as well. His style of play just isn't conducive to winning basketball, despite how talented he may be.

Who was the main player on Seattle?

</div>

Who was a rookie?

Randolph is a cancer. He is a horrible basketball player that will not contribute to winning. There is good reason Randolph is a valueless player among the teams in the NBA.

Minny's team looked a lot like those Portland teams.

What about it?

I'm a Portland fan, live in Portland so I have seen a million Zach Randolph games. He doesn't play defense. At all. Good thing you have Chandler to clean up his mistakes, but every player Randolph has played with hates cleaning up his mistakes eventually and there goes your team chemistry.

The guy sucks so much that Brandon Roy, as a rookie asked for him to be traded from the team.

Brandon Roy also told the guy to shut the hell up when ZBo decided to point fingers in the locker room over who was causing the losing for the team.

He's a piece of shit. His "20 and 10" are useless when he gives up more points on the other end of the court.

The Blazers traded him for pennies on the dollar, which actually became a pretty good trade.

Zbo isnt a bad player, but he is a bad team mate.

I remember he and Nate was kinda involved in a fight and he poured a bucket of water on him.

He also is indeed really selfish. Not a good locker room guy.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DynastYWarrioR6 @ Aug 6 2008, 11:14 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Damn, I wanted Ford as my next pick or so....nice selection.</div>

thanks. Everyone was on my case saying my team needed a PG, so I took the guy I thought was the best one left.

I was looking at Ford with my pic, too, he's good talent at the pick.

The thing that is scary is his injury concerns, obviously.

The only thing I'm not so sure about is how he can mesh with Tim Duncan. Just seems very contrasting.

I had the same concerns you did, but he was my top rated PG, and I figure I will need a good backup PG to split time with him because of those concerns.

And after Ford, there was a big drop off in PG play.

Yeah, I'm feeling it right now.

I remember Real paired TJ with Duncan one year, too. Doesn't really seem like they would mesh...but hey, this is Tim Duncan we're talking about. Probably doesn't even matter.

ly_ying, you better not pick my guy. I'll find out where you live. And go on your computer to edit your pick.

Anyone think a GM draft for the 1992 season would be fun?

How about the 1986 season or the 1966 season or the 1973 season

I don't think TJ and Duncan would be too different than Parker and Duncan. Both PG's are scoring guards.

Except Parker operates in the half court, while Ford's MO is to get out of control and run until he can't walk.

I wanted Ford because I needed someone who could take care of the ball. He averaged 3.07 Assists per Turnovers, and also shoots around 47% from FG.

I was hoping that Z-Bo would slip to me, but good thing he didn't or else you guys would hate JO & Z-BO....

Well I certainly wasn't talking about college.

(braces for NBA stats)

lol Dare I ask what's the white stuff on the left KC?

I mean, Z-Bo could be good if he hustled, but he doesn't. He thinks he's the bombdiggity, but he's the only reason scientists can prove blackholes exist.

Crap. Stuckey and Conley gone.

Guess it was wishful thinking that they would fall.
