Millsap is a good pick, but I think he's better suited coming off the bench. Regardless, still a good pick.
 
Hakim Warrick and "beefed up frounctout" don't really belong in the same sentence.


Anywho, good pick as a back-up PF.
 
beef up wasn't literal - i meant i was adding depth to my frontcourt. hakim put up some pretty good numbers taking Pau's spot in memphis' starting lineup.

Lol, i thought about that a long time, but I think he is the best remaining player of starting quality at the postition of PF.

I looked at both Maxiel and Warrick but liked Millsap more.

I also looked at 2 different shooting unamed fowards

Quick question: Why does Ace get until 8:00AM tomorrow? Shouldn't he get until 1:00AM?

Anyone that goes on the clock after 10:00 pm EST will get until 8:00 am EST the next morning to pick.


Ace should get until 12:20 or so? I don't know the exact time.

Because cpaw confused the hell out of me yesterday. I still have no idea what the rules are. And I still don't get why no one has fixed them.

I did that though and cpaw and someone else said I was wrong. I think the person went on the clock at about 8:30, so I gave him until 2:30. And apparently, I did something incorrectly.
 
Here's what happened:

1) pegs picked at 8:28 PM

2) Using my incredible math skills, I determine that ly_yng (whose pick followed pegs) would then have until 2:28 AM to make his selection. Now, last I checked, 8:28 PM comes before 10:00 PM, no? I'm not crazy, am I?

3) In the discussion thread, JFizzleRaider posts (at 2:12 AM):

I agree with you. I just wish people would stop messing with my head.

Yeah, it is confusing, I think what cpaw meant was that the miswording is where he probably meant that any pick whose time ran past 10 would get until 8AM ET.
I probably got that confused when I agreed with cpaw as well. I run the 2nd GM Draft, and I do it so that anyone whose 6hr period runs past midnight ET, gets until 8AM ET the next morning to make their pick. Ask ZAE to reword it


Sorry for the confusion everyone.
 
The timing makes sense to me. Maybe we could give people until 9AM instead of 8AM.

In my case, 8AM ET is 5AM PT which is just a little on the early side. The 10PM cutoff is 7PM for me, which is plenty reasonable to respond to an email notification of a PM and make a pick.

I didn't know you were pacific time like me lol
Then again it never mattered...I've been up til 5 or 6AM these last couple of days/weeks.
 
Btw I want it noted that Denny I read your post on the selections thread about Ace's choosing of Biedrins, thank you for letting him and I know. I have deleted both his selection as well as your post.

But I wanted you to know that I got it and thank you.
 
Shucks, I'm afraid he just posted his pick and moved on. I was hoping he'd see my post and make another pick. I would rather pick now, obviously, and see him not lose his chance at his choice of guys left, than wait another 3.5 hours to see him skipped.

He's not going to be listed as on the site for more than a couple more minutes. No activity since 17 past the hour.
