Dwight was sent to the line for 6-8 FT's during the Hack-A-Ho sesh.

Portland was far more aggressive most of the game - we should have had more attempts than Houston.

Most people aren't complaining about the officiating at this point - we're just incredulous at the stupidity/ignorance of Rocket fans. The officiating was terrible both ways.

hmmmm you might be right.....maybe i was thinking it should have been a flagrant. if mo's was a flagrat then that definitely was

Mo's flagrant that, one, wasn't a flagrant? That one that happened because Lillard was mugged and run over so Houston ended up with the ball on the break?

Kings sent Shaq to line on purpose like 20 times in Game 6 and then bitched that Lakers shot more FTs. Doesn't make sense.

Well, not 20 times..but had Floppy not shot 50% from the line...

Incorrect logic.

People are pointing out several specific bad calls or non-calls.

Your using "logic" that says Portland got more calls so the refs were more in their favor. It's weak and it's wrong. Same applies in your example of the Kings-Lakers game.

didn't they call foul though? If you want to argue it was more than a foul, I would listen to that.

Or the hit on robins stomach after a call had been made

I think they might have called that one a foul on Robin, but can't remember

I'm still baffled at why the NBA would try and delegitimize two of their own playoff games. It makes no sense to me. Relatedly, did Howard ever get fined/technical for elbowing Lopez? Should have been a tech, and the refs missed it, too.

They're just trying to extend the series; 4 or 5 games is too few for a 4/5 matchup. Plus, it will make Houston's series victory that much more impressive.

How about the fact that Griffin isn't going to receive any kind of punishment for throwing water on a fan?

I couldn't even find anything about it on ESPN and the AP article didn't mention it either. Maybe I missed it but it sure wasn't obvious.

It's funny that many other fan bases, even the Lakers, point out that the Blazers were screwed by the refs the entire game.

Probably because none of them watched the first half, when the Blazers were getting the benefit of 90% of the calls. But if your best argument for fairness is Laker fans, of all people...more power to you.

Butthurt much?

In the first three quarters it was 5 v. 7.

The Blazers finally get a call and it's WW3.

Same thing happened in the Warriors vs. Clippers series.

So far in game 2 there have been 7 fouls called on the Warriors (3 on Klay) and only 3 on the Clippers.

We can probably expect similar treatment.

As I posted previously, I'll be stunned if Lillard and/or LMA don't have 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes of the game. Then the game will be called correctly, according to the NBA.

Not at all. I admire your fanbase's ability to convince yourself that two wrongs make a right (ie, touting the legitimacy of "make-up" calls).

As I've said in other threads, this just delays the inevitable.

And you have any credibility? I assume you're from clutchcity and you automatically lose any credibility.

Clutchcity logic:

Asik can land you LMA.

Dwight/Asik/Jones were abused so hard by Aldridge, let's try DMo. Yeah, DMo should fare very well.

Stotts should bench them for the start of the game or tell them not to get within 10 feet of a Rocket in the first quarter...

Have you set up camp?

Your team has one flaw that it is going to have problems overcoming. Kevin McHale. He was outwitted and outcoached all game long. I personally don't see that changing.

LOL.

So Houston chokes and the NBA is somehow trying to extend the series? Yeah, the NBA made the Rockets choke.

Howard should have fouled out the play before, when he threw Freeland down after the missed free throw. And I'm still waiting for the apology for RoLo's 6th foul. I suspect, however, I'll be waiting a long time for that one.

Fropez' LAST 2 fouls were some bogus bullshit!! How is a player who's backing up (pulled the chair on Howard) creating contact?

That muthafucka TRAVELED!! Howard should have had 2 techs that game...

So the last 2 fouls on Lopez were legitimate? The foul on Wesley when he's straight up and Harden is creating the contact? Let's just agree that the refs sucked on both sides last night.

That's the best part. Houston blows a double-digit lead with less than 4 minutes, at home, and their players and fans are still concentrating on the refs. I think that bodes well for Portland.

This. The Rockets already don't get back on defense when they don't get imaginary calls, Wednesday could be something special in the fastbreak category.

Is this for real? If so the NBA is officially an even more joke. What about the flops by Harden? What about the traveling on Howard that was called a foul and fouled out ROLO? What about when Harden stuck his leg out to create a foul on Wes? Ya fuck this crooked league, they made it obvious who they want to win between the Warriors/Clipper series and our series.

The refs awarded 0 FTs to Houston in the 1st half and made a bad call in our favor to win the game and you guys are STILL whining about the refs??

How many FTs should Houston have had in the first half?
