And like that, half the playoff teams are gone.

Hey! A thread I can see!
Denver looking like they are the team to beat.
I think they will get their championship finally.
He’s freaking outrageous though. He does things you just can’t stop.Only one all star on that team. Amazing.

true. But the all-star they have is a two-time MVP and probably the greatest unicorn in NBA history, as well as the greatest 2nd round steal in history. There's no template for that
Jamal Murray is better than any teammate Dame has had since Aldridge. Aaron Gordon is better and more versatile than any forward Dame has had since Aldridge. While Dame ended up playing with a 6-foot-fucking-three-inch SF, Michael Porter Jr is 6'10.
mainly though, Denver didn't have the same incompetent GM for 10 seasons
Which exactly why you don’t use allstar game appearances as a way to judge a player or their career.Only one all star on that team. Amazing.
Wonder how Murray and Porter would be w/o Jokic? Might put up similar or even better numbers on worse efficiency and wouldn't win nearly as much is my guess. Jokic makes players around him better which elevates the team.
still a matter of talent levels though, and there are plenty of other factors at work. Aaron Gordon is a good example. How much of his improvement is due to simply playing on a a better team, and how much is due to him actually entering his prime, vs just playing with Jokic. Murray has obvious talent, so does Porter, but neither have played without Jokic so it's hard to gauge. Mike Malone is a really good coach too
there's a pretty strong argument that Dame has made players better; Batum, Lopez, Aminu, Plumlee, Harkless, Ed Davis, Turner....all had their best seasons playing with Dame. So did CJ for that matter. And Nurkic-fever/Bosnian-Beast doesn't happen without Dame. Besides Aldridge and maybe pre-injury Matthews, Dame just hasn't played with players the caliber or roster-fit of Jokic's teammates
Nurkic should watch tape of Jokic all off season; whenever he has time off from conditioning. To be fair, 'Bosnian Beast' mode was extremely short lived and hasn't really happened since, either pre or post injury.
Jokic is just on another level. A triple-double machine that can barely jump over an old Monday edition of the paper, isn't quick and not very athletic....yet is unstoppable. And you don't dare trap him because he will pick you apart. It's impressive to watch someone that unathletic be that much of an impact in a game.
Steph was awesome but that Klay 4pt play to end the third and Looneys rebounding were hugeI’m sad to see the Kings go. I hate the Warriors.
Everything about this post is hilarious. The idea that Nurk would ever look to learn from Joker to him having to take time off from conditioning. I don't think Nurk will ever change. I've hoped for it for too long, that dude needs a change of scenery and we need to not have to deal with his shit anymore.Nurkic should watch tape of Jokic all off season; whenever he has time off from conditioning.
