No one plays a full season. We wouldn’t need 20 ppg from Jimmy so who cares if he gets “his touches.” He can defend and has led a team to the NBA Finals less than 3 years ago, a series they could’ve win if Bam and Dragic (who was their leading scorer in the playoffs) didn’t get hurt. Butler can defend, he can play make, he can get to the line. How would he not be a good fit???? Do you want us to win or not? Or do you want to roll with Reddish? I don’t get some of you.

Again, we have one chance to win. One chance to make a trade for a difference maker who makes 35+ million. Is he your top choice?
Sure if he is all we can get he is worth a shot. But I have a bad feeling about him.

We trade for him and finish 8th in the conference, assuming he and Dame play as well as they did this year. Since they'll be 33 and 34 next year, they clearly aren't going to be getting healthier and better.

Why bother?
bam is my target. i think he and dame are pretty close from their time in tokyo.

jimmy still has game too. think his game will age really well.

The Refs in this Lakers : Wolves game are letting them PLAY.

So can’t win, don’t try? You say 8 seed like it’s fact. What about 1 seed? And they both just had one of the best seasons of their career. You need them to be better than 6th & 8th in PER?? If we brought Butler here, the goal would be title.
He misses about 20 games a year. He's good but he's not good enough to make us a 1 seed. If he only plays half the year, which is more possible in his age-34 season than it's ever been, then he might not even be good enough to get us into the playoffs.

I don't want guys in their mid-30s as key additions to our team. I think it's a waste of time and will screw our future.

Celtics brought in KG and Ray Allen for Al Jefferson and Jeff Green.
A couple of differences.

1. it’s been done. People know the term big 3 now. Much harder to do that

2. Who is our 22 year old stud center we are trading?

Amazing how good SloMo has been for Minnesota this year. Just doing everything tonight. He was so bad in the playoffs last year for Memphis.

Watching the Lakers lose is fun.

What we are seeing is exactly why trading your youth and future assets for old Allstars is a bad idea. Young stars are pushing the old heads out.

BTW, Alexander-Walker looks decent for MN, I scouted him when S2 had a mock draft and thought he could be a good two way player. Cronin traded him for future cap space.

Getting outplayed head-to-head by Austin Reaves--in a game where his team clearly needs him to step up in crunch time to hold onto this lead--is not a great look for Anthony "future superstar" Edwards.

If his team wins on the road, it won't matter.

Lakers don't seem that good. LeBron doesn't seem to be really into it, unless he is about to get really serious.

How bad are these two teams? I have never seen so many bad passes in one quarter in my life.

Anthony Edwards has been horrible on offense all game. Where is his dribble-drive game?

Not sure why t wolves want the ball in Edwards's hands, keeps making terrible decisions.

It was pretty funny a couple of minutes ago when he got a good offensive rebound, dribbled it out to the perimeter, made a "it's cool... be calm" hand signal to a teammate and then bricked a contested three.

I don't have anything against him, but that was a dumb play. haha
