CraY that the Clippers will be done with their Game 4, before the lakers even play their Game 3.

Powell with a monster game and Hart continuing his undefeated start to the playoffs.

But don't worry, Cronin got all sorts of future "flexibility" for our team by dumping players for nothing. What beautiful bright times our franchise will have in the years ahead.

How is Hart undefeated? Last I checked their series is tied 1 to 1.

Actually nevermind, I see Hart did play in that game 2 loss, I thought he was doubtful and not going to play. My bad.

I love Hart, and am actively rooting for the Knicks in that series. Just thought I was taking crazy pills there for a second. Haha

Once again, they don’t lose BECAUSE of him. Why don’t people ever see this?
because Cronin has never made a mistake, his trade deadline moves are A++ across the board. Therefore Norman Powell sucks.

Let's not get too crazy... we gave Norm away for nothing but Hart brought back Matisse and the 23rd pick in this upcoming draft. Right? So a rotation wing not as good as Josh but who we have control over this off season and a late first rounder. I'd say that is about right for Josh.

Cronin either shit the bed himself or was forced to in the Clippers trade but after that he has seemingly done a pretty good job. Only time and by time I mean this off season will really tell the whole story.

I agree that the NY trade was fine, even though I'm not a big fan of Thybulle.

But why is this offseason more important than last offseason? Last offseason we had free agents to deal with and we hadn't given Dame such a big extension. I don't see why, if someone didn't consider last offseason a make-or-break, why this time next year one can't just say, "No, for REAL... THIS off-season is will really matter (since the last two seasons wre just works in progress)."

And I also don't see how anyone can look at the team's results the last few years and say that Cronin has done a "pretty good job". He's lost like we're rebuilding but we don't have a promising young roster that a rebuilding team would potentially have.

The guy has punted both of his trade deadlines and last off season. The only thing I can identify that was truly bad among all of the moves he made punting to this point was the Clippers trade. The reason why I think this off season is so big is because Dame was in wait and see mode last off season and this off season he is really letting his voice be heard that he has said it has to be a much more competitive team around him going into this upcoming season.

Didn't Dame say a bunch of the same things two years ago around the Olympics when Neil was in charge?

Yeah and somehow Chauncey getting hired seemed to appease him. I don't see anything like that doing the trick this time.

right about now I'd imagine quite a few Minny fans are thinking that the lottery might have been better

The Sixers have their brooms out even with Embiid sitting but the Nets aren't going down without a fight. For the record and this isn't just because he's having a bad game... I don't think Bridges is the best fit for us as our big acquisition unless we're landing a monster glass eating rebounding beast as another high impact starter. We do need to pick up another starting forward but with the way Jerami rebounds or rather the way he doesn't, I would like the second forward to be a better rebounder than Bridges.

Broke out the brooms without their MVP candidate. They'll likely get some time to rest Embiid's knee since the Hawks already took a game in the series the Sixers will be waiting on and that fourth game hasn't even been played yet.

Agree that we need rebounding next to Grant, but if the starting lineup features Sharpe (instead of Ant) and Nurk, rebounds aren't an issue there. It's when we go small ball without Nurk that we need wings who can rebound well next to Jerami.

Chauncey either needs to get really comfortable with drop coverage or Nurk needs to go. I actually don't even care that much about the fact that he's been made less effective defensively because his bullshit offense is so frustrating, I want him gone regardless.

You really need Superstars to win playoff games. Not one but two and maybe 3. No up and coming young star but Superstars.

I mean yeah the officiating is still rigged. Of course you need superstars. If you have a star and a superstar in a moving foul situation will they call offensive on the superstar or defensive on the star? We know the answer to this one: nothing succeeds like success.

Say we got kept Nurk, got Mikal Bridges, and resigned Thybulle, we would be fools to not play drop defense. Mikal can’t be screened and Thybulle is most dangerous after being screened.

Chauncey could play his switching scheme in the 20 non-nurk minutes a night.

Billups was photographed at the Clippers shootaround earlier this week

Superstars win playoff games, not young stars but superstars and you need 2-3 of them to win it all. Just look at the Clippers and Nets, just a bunch of role players and nothing to show.

Not sure if this is what others are seeing?
It seems to me the Suns are getting better calls than the Clippers? Couple of pretty blatant no calls in favor of the Suns while Durant seems to be getting touch fouls?
