Teams gave up on him for attitude reasons, not because of his talent. Everyone tried to build around him until getting fed up with the drama. For whatever reason, he's a perfect fit for "Heat culture."
I have no qualms about Jimmy Butler's attitude. He's hyper-competitive. He's going to lay it all out on the line & expects those around him to do the same.

NBA radio talks about Jimmy Butler quite a lot. Eddie Johnson dislikes him.... a lot. His take is Jimmy talks big about everything you mentioned, but mails it in during the regular season. Only cares about the playoffs. Maybe Jimmy has the right idea. Others do it as well. But Eddie thinks it rubs his teammates the wrong way. One of the many reasons he wears out his welcome. His teammates are usually glad when he moves on.

I’m so excited about tonight’s games. They all interest me and I don’t like that they’re all on at once. It’s gonna be a great night. Bucks could be first #1 seed to lose a 7 game first round series in 5. Knicks could win a playoff series for the first time in 10 years. A Lakers team that was 8 games below .500 at one point may upset the trash talking two seed. And then we have the most exciting series in the playoffs, the only one at 2-2. Can Warriors win on the road or will they be one loss from elimination? So excited!!! Rooting for Heat, Knicks, Grizzlies, and Kings.

I expected the Knicks/Cavs series to be close with Cleveland having a slight advantage, but it may be that the Knicks will close it out tonight

Cavs only need for their team is a new coach

Josh Hart has played more minutes (31) so far than any player on either team.
(Edit: looks like he’s going to play almost the entire game.)

Hey Nurk, that’s how you play. Just look at Mitchell Robinson

Wow! The Grizz just outscored the Lakers by 17 in the last 4 minutes of the third. We'll see if they can hold onto that lead or if the Lakers will make their run.

I guess the question now is, have the Grizz figured something out in regards to the Lakers or is it just one game? We should find out on Thursday.

Grizzlies are the better team. They will win the series. The Lakers don’t matter. If Grizzlies play their game, they’ll win. They’ll prob beat Kings or Warriors too. They’re an incredibly deep team with a superstar PG and DPOY. They’ve also taken their blows the last couple seasons. They are battle tested. I don’t think they beat Denver. They could beat Phoenix.

Cleveland has some soul searching to do. They lost two play-in games last season and now they win 50 games and have HCA and lose in 5. The last time they won a series without LeBron, Mark Price was their starting PG. Crazy.

Just need a new coach

Seems like the Mobley Allen pair of two bigs just didn't work in the playoffs. They were great in the regular season and Mobley has a bright future. Just need better spacing with a 5 man unit than having them both on the floor. Maybe Mobley gets a 3pt shot some day.

It's part of the reason I was so critical of the huge Nurk contract. Bigs that can't shoot 3s while good over 82 games are much harder to play in the playoffs.

Nurk has 3 playoff wins and 13 playoff losses as a Blazer; not a coincidence nor that the year he was out they made the WCF.

What’s with Miami? They beat the Bucks in the playoffs twice now

The Bucks just crumbled late in the last two games. Not taking anything away from Jimmy Buckets because he has been brilliant but it took both him being so great and the Bucks really breaking down.
