Yeah, if shit like this happens, I'll just go into women's rooms if the mens room has a line. I do that at restaurants if there is a single use women's room anyway, now it'll be legal yo.
Dude I ALWAYS use the women's restroom if it's single use. For one reason, men's restroom is 95% of the time disgusting.

there is NO law allowing men to walk into the lady's (actually ladies') room and if someone asks they are transphobic

Please, cite the state law that says this.
I am so fucking sick of trying to talk sense to those who think ignorance and bigotry is something to boast of

Unisex bathrooms are not a bad idea, could reduce the problem of long lines for women, but, you know, Minstrel, opponents of women's rights said if the Equal Rights Amendment were passed we'd have unisex toilets and women in combat. Well, we have unisex toilets and women in combat (although Republican platform calls for ending that) and we STILL don't have the damn ERA!

Maybe I am misunderstanding you, but there doesn't have to be a law saying men are allowed. There has to be a law saying you aren't allowed. In this country you are allowed to do whatever you want until there is a law passed stating you cant.

I can walk into the women's room now and it isn't illegal, but from what I understand I can be refused the right to be served?

a young girl seeing an adult penis in the lady's room.

I see fathers bring their young daughter into the men's restroom often. It's much safer than sending a young girl into the women's restroom by herself. You keep posting this scenario of what if a man goes into a women's restroom and flashes his penis at a young girl. What the hell is a young girl doing in the restroom unattended? If the girl is old enough to use a restroom by herself then she should know what to do in stranger danger type of situations. Far worse things can happen then seeing a penis.

Cant we all just run around naked? Its just skin people!!!!

I do think we should pass a series of laws of who or what to not allow in women's restrooms.

1. Bears.
2. Terrorists.
3. People looking for a place to cook meth.
4. Zombies.
5. Barfo.

6. Mutts with glasses

Leave the Kardahians out of this.

Yeah, the easy solution is change restrooms from "men" and "women" to "penis" and "sans-glans", or something like that. That should work, but I don't think that is really what the drivers are after.

I'm sure many of you will think I'm crazy, but I really am done with all the social engineering, identity politics crap. Tired of the government telling me 2+2=5 and the NBA punishing states who say 2+2=4 until they submit. I love basketball, but I love my daughters more. It is the NBA's right to take a stand if they want and it is equally my right too. With that I will say "it's been great". Maybe if the NBA decides it's okay for people to have different views on what 2+2= then I will be back. I quit Facebook and Twitter in the face of extreme bias and their disdain for free speech. I can only hope that the NBA continues their big brother tactics until they face the same decline that Twitter has faced.

Sorry if I triggered anyone along the way. Don't worry, if the country stays on the path it is now, the government will be on this forum to make sure that safe spaces exist for (who submit to 2+2=5).

Not understanding you at all. The NBA pulled the allstar game BECAUSE the state took rights away from certain sects of people. The NBA is the one saying we should allow ALL people to have the same rights, regardless of orientation, but since NC is not, we aren't going to support you. Which is basically what you just said.

So your going to boycott the NBA for sticking up for ALL types of people and your going to say they are wrong in doing so, but your sick of them saying it has to be this way or that?

Wow. Not sure I've ever read such drastic contradictions, unless I am totally not following you.

Basically, the NBA is sticking up for the little man and your saying they shouldn't and your gonna boycott them because of it?

I dont agree with homosexuality. I don't think it was how our bodies were meant to be. There are physical features that distinguish ( except for the truly few who have genes mixed and not fully developed... a genetic disorder)
Otherwise a Penis is meant to inject into a woman's vagina for the purpose of reproduction. This is fact.
With that said, I strongly disagree with denying rights to those who might disagree with me. Just because I think I am right on this doesn't mean I think gay/homosexuals should have their rights removed. That's just ludicrous. We are all still just humans, regardless of our sexual preference or personal beliefs.

The problem with our world... always has been and always will be..... is that there will always be a church and/or state that will force feed their beliefs down our throats... just like NC is trying to do. NOT the NBA.

I also think we need to ban from women's restrooms:

elephants, male or female or otherwise
dining room tables
Humvees
VCRs
barbecues
lawn mowers

True, I have never in my life seen any of those things in a women's restroom and there is no reason why anyone would bring them but how can I be SURE there won't ever be an elephant in the restroom unless someone bans it, right? Since I am unaware of state laws banning elephants from women's restrooms I guess I have to assume states want people to bring elephants into the restroom despite the obvious inconvenience this would pose to others. Right? That's the logic I am seeing here.

How on god's green earth does one "disagree" with homosexuality? Do you disagree with left-handedness? Do you disagree with curly hair?
A penis is meant? By whom? For the purpose of reproduction - ban birth control? Any other means of male sexual expression with women? I mean, I'm gay, I'm not ignorant, I know there are a lot of things straight men do with their wives that don't involve injecting (how does one "inject" a penis anyway?) into a vagina for purpose of reproduction? And why is Penis capitalized? It's not a proper noun.

Wow. HAHA. Go off on tangents? IF your disagreeing that the purpose of male and fem,ale genitalia is for reproductive purposes, then I dont know what to say. Not really much point in discussing further.

To pull a you... how the hell does one AGREE with homosexuality when you arent able to reproduce in that way? IF you agree with homosexuality, then you agree we should end all human life because if everyone turned gay, that is what would happen.

How the hell does one AGREE with Homosexuality when you cant reproduce in that fashion?

I don't agree or disagree with these statements, but CrandC if your going to be that extreme with your beliefs, then why the hell cant someone else feel the opposite?

I say I disagree with Homosexuality, because Physically it doesn't work and wasn't meant to be. I don't deny chemical genes and varying degrees of sexually oriented genes making it NOT black and white, but none the less, I believe a penis is meant ( doesn't mean it happens this way) for a vagina for reproduction. Again. Are you disagreeing with this? Do I judge, belittle, think less of anyone who is gay? Hell no, not intentionally. It's their/your right. Doesn't mean I have to agree with it.

I would also like to add I have gay friends (not many). They know my stance and I know theirs. We are cool.

The point is that humans don't only use their body parts for evolutionary designs. Our arms weren't designed by evolution for the overhand mechanics of baseball pitchers--do you "disagree" with pitching? It's a strange standpoint, IMO, to talk of agreeing and disagreeing with behaviors not based on how they impact people, but due to "evolutionary concerns."

That's not even getting into the fact that homosexuality isn't a chosen behavior but an innate trait (thus her questioning how someone can "disagree" with something that isn't a choice--it's like, as she said, "disagreeing" with being left-handed; it wasn't a choice to be disagreed with).

But who says its an innate trait? see my viewpoint is innately, the Penis is meant to ejaculate sperm for reproductive services into a female vagina for offspring.
Again.. How is that debatable?

Behaviors are completely debatable. Not black and white.

You say its innate, I say its a cultural trait. Doesn't mean either of us is right. And that's my point. As much as she or anyone can have the stance that Homosexuality is okay, it is just as right for others to have the opposite stance because of beliefs of what the body was meant for. Just because the body isn't being used for what its meant for doesn't make it any less factual that a penis is meant for reproduction, just like the vagina is and until us as humans figure out another form of reproduction, this is a fact. My point is CrandC's viewpoint is just as extreme as some of those who oppose gay rights.
Neither side is right because its all debatable, so all we have left is to respect each others' opinions and beliefs. Doesn't mean you have to agree.

I'm not sure why I'm on the list explicitly. Any of the first 4 rules would be sufficient to bar my entry.

The all star weekend is a colossal joke now anyways. I'd actually feel honored to miss out on the traffic, Kevin Hart camera whoring, and vomitously overpriced tickets all leading up to a 200-175 clownshow score of a game to which even top 20 players aren't necessarily going to be selected.
All true. I don't even watch the All-Star game anymore. It's a joke.

You say its innate, I say its a cultural trait. Doesn't mean either of us is right. And that's my point.

Anyone can say anything they want, but what I'm saying is informed by scientific consensus:

Although scientists favor biological models for the cause of sexual orientation, they do not believe that it is the result of any one factor. They generally believe that it is determined by biological and environmental factors; they state that most people's sexual orientation is determined at an early age, and sexual orientation development involves a complex interplay between nature and nurture. The biological factors are genetic and hormonal, both of affect the fetal development of the brain, while environmental factors may be sociological, psychological, or involve the early uterine environment. Scientists generally do not believe that sexual orientation is a matter of choice.

Link

There are plenty of sources linked there, if you want to read more in depth. There may be some environmental factors involved, but one doesn't choose one's environment anymore than one chooses one's genetics. And no, scientific consensus doesn't mean something is 100% fact, but it means a lot more than "I think it's a cultural decision."

Not to mention, homosexuality has been observed in other animals, as well--animals that presumably don't have the chance to "experiment in college." That also strongly implies that it's not a choice based on culture.

Just because the body isn't being used for what its meant for doesn't make it any less factual that a penis is meant for reproduction, just like the vagina is and until us as humans figure out another form of reproduction, this is a fact.

You're misstating that. Reproduction is achieved through eggs and sperm (penises and vaginas aren't even necessarily required anymore). Penises and vaginas are "meant for" a lot more than reproduction. I mean, where do you currently urinate from? Not to mention sex is no longer (and probably never was) just for reproduction. Saying that sex is only for reproduction is A. probably not something you practice yourself, and B. also rules out usage of human faculties for other things that aren't necessary for survival, only pleasure, like art. So yes, penises and vaginas are meant for more than reproduction.

You're free to believe what you like, of course, but the scientific evidence and the knowledge of humans actually work (not as pure survival/procreation robots) don't really support your belief, in my own opinion.

I made some inputs to your post I quoted, but you cant see them without expanding.

NO were not robots and no I'm not Christian, so lets put this another way......

The nose.

It is used for breathing. Its also used to smell and some could say to help drain mucus. Take away the mucus and the smell and its still meant to breath...

So take away urination. Take away sexual arrousal. The Penis is still used for reproduction and its my belief that was its primary use per the creator. Yes it is used for more ,but oh my god those who are saying its not used for reproduction? LMAO. Sorry. Cant continue this conversation.. its not reasonable.

You put words in my mouth and twisted my intent.

But no one is saying the penis or vagina isn't used for reproduction. Why would we "take away" urination and sexual pleasure? Those are things it's used for and meant for, as well. When gay men and women get pleasure from using their genitals with people of the same sex, they're using their genitals for one of its intended uses. So when you say that "the penis (or vagina) is meant for reproduction and therefore gay people aren't using it for its intended function," you're wrong--they are using it for one of its intended functions.

You can still not like homosexuality, I just don't think there's anything logical about your stance, that's all.

I have no problem with women being allowed access to the men's showers.
