I think he's trying to make the adjustment to what others seem to think he should be, more off the ball, and it's throwing off his over all game. That doesn't mean he's not trying, just the opposite, he's just trying to adapt.

I think you're right- it's not all his fault. The plays are not run through Roy as often and he's not play-making everytime down the floor, now playing more off the ball. And when he does go iso, he has less room to work with when there's nobody to stretch the D now that Blake and Outlaw aren't here. Nobody will respect Dre or Matthews' 3 point shot when they shoot it at such a low percentage. Also, his body is probably not as quick and athletic as in previous years and he may not be 100% now physically.

But Roy should still be held accountable for his attitude. It kind of seems like he's not even giving any effort to make our new offense work, as evidenced by his reluctance to do anything but pass on offense tonight. He didn't even try to score when we badly needed buckets. I hope Roy understand that it doesn't have to be all or nothing; just because he's not getting the ball everytime doesn't mean we don't need him to create on the offense sometimes. When an offensive set is not working, we need someone who can bail us out and create a good shot out of nothing, like Roy can. So although Brandon isn't the sole focal point of our offense anymore, there will still be a need for him to make plays for us.

I want and hope he can more enthusiastically embrace his new role because otherwise, if tonight is any indication, it will be a long and ugly season.

I'm not terribly thrilled with how Brandon is handling things, but in a way I see his point. Andre is a good PG, but it makes his game harder to do. Can he adjust? Yeah, but it's a big adjustment to all that he has done for his career. Granted it's not a long career.

I do find it funny just how quick people are willing to trade or talk shit about him. We seem to have a vocal group of fans (not necessarily the same group) who quickly turn on players when things go bad.

I don't see how people can't see the writing on the wall (both here, both sides and Nate). Even though the team has had a decent winning clip with Andre and Brandon, Brandon hasn't been the same player the last 90 regular season games.

But then again, this franchise is kind of like the Cubs of pro basketball. If they can find a way to fuck up a good thing, they will.

It's amazing that even after reading his quotes after the game, it is still a big mystery whether it is physical or something else, although I get the impression it's both. It's discouraging to hear him hint that it might be physical but whatever it is "it's nothing magical that will go away." Does that mean it will never go away or that it will just take a long time? What is the big secret? At this point it's obvious that the team will not be able to use him as a decoy so how about giving the fans some information! I also agree with everyone who thinks that it is ridiculous that McMillan seems to think that it's ok to ignore this problem and see what happens.

That tells me it's not an injury situation, or at least that isn't the MAIN problem. Rather it's related to the coach or players he is playing with. Something that can "go bad".

I think Cho has some real tough decisions to make about this roster sooner or later. The mix with this team just feels a little bit off.

I honestly have felt for years that Oden an Aquarius would help balance out Brandon if he can stake a leadership position on the team. First though Oden needs to be a leader by example. Just my hopes on the situation. Of course it could all get ugly too.

Brandon doesn't like playing with Miller, yet Miller plays with him.

Brandon said on several occasions that he liked playing with Bayless, yet Bayless got traded.

Brandon has said he needs the ball more. but that leaves our offense stagnant.
