I prefer to believe that MediocreMan is using this board to take out all of his anger and negativity on anonymous people, while enjoying every minute he gets in 'real life' with those who love him. That must be the case, right? Otherwise, why would anyone spend time after a horrible diagnosis being a troll on a message board?

Probably a lot of truth in this statement

D'Antoni has more of the kind of players he wants this year. The team will be more on the same page.
.

If Kobe is totally healthy they have a decent rotation:

Gasol, Kaman, Hill rotating at the 4-5
Kobe, Meta, Young , Meeks at the 2-3
Nash, Farmar, Blake, Duhon at the 1

Not very athletic...... but experienced. Not sure they are really D'Antoni type of guys though. And they certainly look like injuries could be a problem with their age. But overall it is not a bad team. It will come down to how they hold up for 82 games. And of course how Kobe comes back.

Sadly, not sure how much validity I can put in a publication that puts OKC 5th in the conference, and drops Memphis all the way to 7th, based on the losses of Kevin Martin and Rudy Gay, respectively. It appears this writer places high value on no-defense chuckers...

I do think OKC will drop off some, but 5th??

Hm, now that I think about it, it's possible. It could be a scenario where teams 2-6 are separated by 1 or 2 games.

However, the biggest "seriously?" to me was the Nuggets. I think they're going to struggle. Who is their go to player/best player?

This is obviously the most true, best, unbias publication in the history of journalism

I see you've decided to start making arguments against a mentality that no one ever uses, huh?

Yeah this statement is not convincing:

"They lost Corey Brewer and Andre Iguodala, but added Darrell Arthur, J.J. Hickson and Nate Robinson. They still have the personnel to play the all-out blitzing style that got them 57 wins last year, and they can do it with bigger players."

And I agree that there is no way OKC will fall below GS. They will still end up in the top 2-3

Meta World War is a Knick.

*facepalm* Who cares? He's not even an analyst. We may make the playoffs, we may not. It's not the end of the world.
