Oh man. I love kale. I never used it, but learned to love it when I was living in Florida. We had a big garden and the kale was prolific so I had to eat it or waste it. I figured out some really tasty things to do to it. Also PBJs saved my life on my shorebird surveys. 12 hours walking up and down dunes, wading through lagoons, and fighting through brush in Florida summer required a little quick energy.

You should write a rock opera about an animated piece of Kale. Hell. Harry Nilsson wrote an entire children's cartoon about "points."

Great album by the way. What about the Beach Boys "Vegetables"?

We have four varieties of Kale in the garden...grows like dandelions...Tuscan Kale tastes best..it's also better when young and tender, tends to get woody if you wait too long to harvest...I mix it with Parsley, Green and Red Chard and Romaine Lettuce for salads or stir fries. When Romaine lettuce bolts if you let the stalks get tall you can cut them up and pickle them...really delicious.

Wow, you really are from Oregon. I will try to find you as soon as my Soylent Green rations run out.

Yeah. I was listening to Smile the other day. It's amazing but slightly disturbing. It could easily soundtrack a slasher film. All those high unsettling harmonies. Brian Wilson was doing Wwwwway to much acid.
Big time. There is a track about a girl's hair falling out. And one about windchimes. Also the percussion on Vegetables is Brian Wilson and Paul McCartney chewing on celery sticks.

Crazy timing. I just had a PB&J sandwich earlier today.

I don't do white bread though. Give me Dave's Killer any day!

A prunetang sandwich sounds like something Riverman might really enjoy. ;)

On the real though, I'll f'ing slaughter a PB&J sandwich. Anyone ever had that PB&J grilled food cart? There were a few of them around PDX but I think shes out of business for the moment trying to open up a restaurant.

When I work out, I eat pb&j's everyday. The best though, is a pb&j with bacon in it... you're welcome.

Sometimes I have the cooks at my work, make me deep fried pb&j's with bacon. It's makes you feel like a piece of shit, but it's bomb af.

My mom tried to get me to way a kale salad regularly. I've found out that the problem with kale is that no matter which way you prepare it... It's still KALE

Sauté it with garlic, EVOO, sea salt, and a little pepper.

:hungry:
