It's too bad the media made us watch Yale rebound balls. They should have been showing Yale's competitive Book Reading team. I heard they went on a 125 page to 80 page run in the final 2 hours.
Purdue trying to blow this one. Up one with 20 seconds left.
If college basketball wasn't as big of a deal the NBA wouldn't be close to the level it is.There shouldn't be a demand for it, IMO.
Schools are for education, not anciellery monetary gain outside the upkeep of sports and extra-curricular activities.
God damn, I sound old as fuck.
*smokes old style pipe and rocks in rocking chair* Damn kids and their playing of games...
I honestly understand and mostly agree with what you have been ranting about, by the way. I just like watching basketball, and there are some really fun moments that come out of the tournament. And yes, I like mindless entertainment sometimes.Exactly!

Totally. Also doesn't mean I can't enjoy it and relax.Yeah, I think a lot of people probably do agree with the sentiment, but we don't live in a society that can do much about it with the technological advances and saturation of media. It is what it is. Doesn't mean I have to like it or watch it. lol.

Yes, you can.BUT I CAN BITCH ABOUT IT, DAMNIT!
No? You're complaining about it as an NBA fan when the NBA would suffer without it. Monetizing college sports? You have to make money for the sport to run. How's the monetization a bad thing? So that is the reason to monetize college sports? For professional sports? That seems ass backwards if you ask me.
Damn you Yale Bulldogs! Why... why didn't I do this?!?I just went with if their mascot is a dog they win.
Wish there was a chance we could draft Sabonis.
He should be a high lottery pick. You can tell he grew up learning how to play from his dad the way he looks to pass the ball. High BBall IQ.There's a chance.

I'd trade Meyers Leonard for the draft rights to Sabonis without a second guess. I don't think we could get a first round pick for Meyers though. Not sold on Sabonis yet. He is still only a sophomore but I thought he'd be better this year in that conference (at least when I saw him play.) We'll see what happens.
