I had Memphis is the final 4 last year because they had Darius Washington, Shawne Williams, and most importantly Rodney Carney. This year, they don't have close to that talent. Plus Joey Dorsey's FT shooting woes will kill this team.I dunno if we watched the same Pitt team during the end of the season. For the first 3 months of the season, they were a top team. But it seems they've lost all the gas left in the tank. They couldn't beat ranked teams until the Big East tourney (a Marquette team without Jerel McNeal) and a Louisville team that got crushed in 2-20 in the first minutes of the 2nd half because of lack of intensity. They have no real go to guy outside of Gray which will kill them if a team simply sets it offense to stop Gray. They don't have huge 3 pt threats that scare anyone outside of Ramon (still not a shooter coaches will have nightmares over).Oregon... I just can't see them getting that far without big men. Big men are very important in big games because they shoot high percentage shots and have 35 seconds to get position on the block. They can get far but it'll take a lot of accurate jump shooting. One off night and they're done. To me, that's scary.

i can accept that about oregon (your argument).for PITT, yeah, im really not sure what i was thinking, i actually have them losing in the first round now in my bracket, so yeah, i donno what i was thinking there, and i have duke now advancing to the sweet 16, because Coach K is Coach K.

I joined. All I'm saying about my bracket is that UCLA is the champion.

March Madness On Demand is pretty cool. Though, CBS is having a hard time with its audio online. :banghead:

7-0.Then GW had to get destroyed.

i think im 5-3, Texas Tech, George Washington, and Old Dominion all failed me.At the moment, Ive got Duke winning, UCLA winning, Ohio St. winning, but Marquette is losing...Not too bad, as long as Texas A&M and Georgetown and Maryland are still alive, I'm fine.

:ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: :ranting: Friggin VCU. Oh well here's to hoping Duke will be better next year.

8-1. I could've sworn I picked Michigan St. over Marquette. I did in every single bracket I have (and I have like 20 lol). I should be 9-0.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Rex Grossman 8 @ Mar 15 2007, 07:57 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>11-2.</div> :confused2: There have only been 12 games finished to this point...

I'm just happy that I didn't have anyone lose who I had winning in the 2nd round. Nothing sucks harder than a final four pick losing in the first round. I had Duke losing to Pitt and Marquette losing to UNC

Only 3 upsets, and two were a 9 beating an 8... so not even really upsets.

Yeah, once a decade you'll look brilliant picking that 14 seed to go to the sweet 16, but usually you'll look like an idiot and not be in the running going into the final 4.

I picked a few upsets that didn't pan out which is why I went 11-5, but I'm also in terrific shape for the later rounds as all of my Sweet 16 teams won. So I figure I'll make up a bunch of points in the later rounds.

Damn BYU and Notre Dame... why did you have to lose?

Louisville manhandled Stanford on Thursday. Today they face a stern test in A&M hopefully they prevail. Thank God another Over-rated Notre Dame team got handled in a tourny. I hate how if your names "Notre Dame or Duke" you get the sympathy bids. Anyways, watch out for Winthrop. They could go FAR and I mean FAR. They have nice mix of players and they can shoot the lights out.

Anyone who didn't watch this Ohio St. - Xavier game is missing/missed one hell of a game! :beerbang2:
