Taggart's conservative play calling may bite the Ducks in the ass.

Lot to learn from this one for the team, I can't believe the defense won us this game though.

Should've went to the pass more, our pass blocking is really good.

Exactly. This could have been a tremendous statement game by the Ducks, but they became predictable in the 2nd, running up the middle every play. That type of conversvative offense has the same effect as the prevent defense, it just lets teams back into the game. The 2nd half was horribly coached offensively. I was about to really be singing Taggart's praises, but now not so much.

Ducks only throw 8 fucking passes in the 2nd half.

That was a good win for Oregon. Need to keep on winning until it is time to play the Huskies so they can get that quality win and look good to the Playoff Committee when they beat the Ducks.:bgrin:

I think Taggart is having issues with Herbert, Herbert is a top 4 QB in the PAC but he isn't a big running threat. Taggart is used to having someone closer to a Masoli than a Thomas, both good college QBs in their own right. I think Taggart is gonna need to adjust this offense to fit Herbert. That means the whole read option needs to be cut down to a few spot plays. I think pulling guards with the RBs following would be wiser for the run game. Turning the offense into a modern day pro-style may be beneficial until Taggart develops his true dual threat post-Herbert.
