Need suggestions: How do I watch the Blazers this coming season?

That's a pretty good option! What is an abbreviated game? Do you get all the game action and the time outs and dead time are deleted, or is the game edited down to be more like an extended highlight reel?
I also have League Pass Broadband. The abbreviated games are like 10-12 minutes long, show about 70-80% of game action but remove all timeouts, commercials, and IIRC the player dribbling the ball up the court unless there was a fast break bucket. They provide a really good option if you don't want to watch the full game. 9 times out of 10 I watch the abbreviated game if I've missed the game live.

Cool - thanks for the info! If I decide to pay to watch games, I think this will be my option. I kinda like having to go over to a friend's or a bar to watch the game - if I can watch all of them at home, I'll end up watching most and not having time to do other things. But if there's a 10 minute option that's kinda the best of both worlds!

Prob gonna go with PS Vue Core. It has CSN/NBA/NFL networks.

Best method I've found is to have a strong drink in one hand, and keep the other one free for covering my eyes at any moment.

One more little trick - when you see Myers close his eyes, it's best to do the same.

barfo

NFL Redzone has also been added to PSVue, which is pretty dope.

You can also watch PSVue on your phone.

I just stream that shit. I know it's not the "moral" thing to do, but I've yet to see a cable/sattellite company with anything resembling morals. The sad thing is, I'd be totally down to pay a fair price to watch games, but unfortunately there aren't any decent options out there where im not getting dicked over by blackouts and other bullshit. Everytime i try to sign up for something "legit" i get fucked over. Maybe when they start losing money they will introduce some decent options.

Yeah, I've streamed for a long time. But I now have a little bit of expendable income and I'm sick of bad quality streams / streams going offline.

Also, the last time I streamed a game, Comcast literally cancelled my account the same day. They said they didn't know why my account got shut down, but uh, yeah.

PlaystationVue, as Nate and a few others have discussed. No blackouts, no contracts, high quality, cheaper than a cable subscription (and did I mention no contract?). Watch on your PC, or a streaming device. I haven't tried it on my phone, but apparently it's another option. Another nice feature is that if you try watch streaming content at ESPN that requires a cable subscription, your PSVue account will give you access.

It's good. It's not as cheap as it used to be, but I've had zero complaints.

EDIT: If you live out of state, then I have no idea if CSN is going to be available to you via PSVue. Check the channel lineup before you buy.

Up until this last year I only watched games on my Apple TV (no cable or regular TV). The only games I totally missed were the L@ker and Clipper games due to regional blackout (which is forever). Other games I missed live were the ones on ESPN, NBATV, etc., but all of those games I could watch after the fact--if they won, so I didn't feel completely limited.

Also, by subscribing to the package I could also stream them to my iPad.

Unfortunately I don't have one of those back of the head plug in thingies yet, but probably will some day. (After the AI machines arise).

This year we went with a new internet provider and got basic cable thrown in for low cost so I am good to go for everything now.

Find a sports-bar near you. For the price of 2 beers - you can enjoy the game in the company of your fiends - and if you have no friends, the company of others. (*)

(*) - Also - you get to enjoy the beer.

Typo but not really.

A moderator and a spell checker. A tip of Sly's hat for you, my good man.

What does this mean? What is a LIVE stream?
Sites that stream it as well as other events. It's how I watch all the UFC cards, sometimes a blazer game if I'm in the office.

Some crap I got from Radio Shack. It cost like 15 bucks. What brand is yours.
Amazon product ASIN B00RFLGH5E
I bought one almost exactly like this a couple of years ago. The trick is to mount it on a wall that is (mostly) unobstructed by landmarks between it and the broadcasting antennae in the West Hills (or the best you can manage). The tech in all of these boosted, antennae are basically all the same. If your Radio Shack antenna isn't working, it's probably more to do with where it's located vs. any design flaws. The best antenna in the world can't overcome being in the bottom of a valley surrounded by hills for instance.

This is probably the problem.

Nobody's mentioned this yet but Hulu has a new streaming TV service. I used PlayStation Vue last season and Chromecast the games to my TV... I use my Xbox one a lot so I tried Hulu for summer league and it worked great.

Does it have Comcast NW though?

Dviss, you must have your antenna positioned weird because even I can pick up like 15 Medford channels from the middle of nowhere.
