I had trouble getting out of bed Sunday morning I was so depressed after Saturday night

On bench:

To this point in the season, last year our bench ranked thirteenth in the league in Real Plus-Minus. They were minus-64 on the season. This year we're ranked seventh and we're plus-253. So nobody tell me the guys aren't getting it done when they're getting the opportunity. The goal is for them not to get too big of an opportunity because we want our starters on the floor.

On Robin Lopez and Meyers Leonard's place in history:

In the history of the Trail Blazers there are two current players that rank in the top 10 in offensive efficiency all-time. Who are they? One is No. 1 and one is No. 10. The Trail Blazers score the most points per 100 possessions when they're on the floor. Robin is No. 1 Meyers Leonard is No. 10. That's along with greats like Kiki Vandeweghe and Terry Porter and Clyde Drexler and Danny Ainge and Buck Williams and Dale Davis. The list goes on.

On CJ McCollum:

Here's a guy like CJ, in the games he's played more than 15 minutes, guys, he's averaged 10 a game and he's shooting 59 from the floor.

Hahaha yeah I thought that was funny too but Dale Davis actually was pretty good for us. I love to hear that he had trouble getting out of bed on Sunday. Means he cares as much as we do.

It's because he only plays over 15 minutes a game when he's playing well. If the first 10 minutes aren't good, Stotts usually doesn't go back to him very often.

Pretty sure Dale Davis was mentioned for offensive efficiency, not greatness. It's easy to be efficient when you stick to put-backs and dunks!

Dale Davis was awesome. He was always the quiet type that everyone around the league knew could kick anyone's ass. He was one of the players from that era that loved smoking the budz but nobody suspected.
