I know it's in bad taste to talk money right now but this injury will come into play during negotiations - not just here but other interested teams as well.

I'm hoping Afflalo doesn't opt out and waits until the new cap kicks in. I wouldn't be surprised if Portland signs Matthews to a nice contract this summer. It definitely won't be at a healthy Matthews level, but over 10 mil.

I would absolutely love to get Gasol but I think that's a pipe dream. He seems extremely loyal and I just don't see him being a player that would bolt on the team that gave him a chance to shine.

After seeing Wes go down, would you wait another year and hope you don't get hurt, or settle for 40-50 million now?
I personally would not roll the dice.
