First game of the season: Nets @ Washington - Oct. 29th

First home game: Golden State @ New Jersey - Nov. 1st

Weird game of the year: Nets vs Knicks @ MN. WTF - April 15th

Key Dates: Dec 19th, Kidd returns; Feb. 3rd, RJ returns; Feb. 7th, K-Mart.

If you live outside the NJ area, let me recommend getting a slingbox. I plan on doing that and it just allows your to watch your home tv on your computer. Even in HD. A little pricey but worth the investment.

November seems to be a very difficult month for us.

Not a good way to start the season.

I managed to watch about 65 games last season despite living in AZ through various internet sources. It's definitely possible.

How?

How come I keep seeing only last seasons schedule with results.

I don't see the new schedule at all.

One more than the Knicks! That's gotta hurt.

I'm surprised Knicks vs. Suns isn't televised.

I'm assuming Mark Cuban paid a hefty amount of money to make that happen

You can't pay to make that happen. Would think Stern would do whatever he could to stick it to Cuban.

Sad when better teams like New Orleans get only 12 games, but the networks pick and they know New Orleans isn't a hot bed for ratings. Stupid thing is that it's not about the local markets because they can always watch their team on local channels. This is about the rest of the country wanting to watch some good games.

I don't think it's up to Stern, actually. I think it's up to ESPN, TNT, and ABC.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Cuban paid 'em

Here's a quick breakdown for those terminally unfocused:

Cleveland, Lakers, Phoenix: 25
Boston: 24
Dallas: 21
San Antonio: 19
Denver: 16
Detroit: 14
Houston, Portland: 13
New Orleans: 12 (disresectful IMO)
Orlando, Utah: 11
Chicago: 10 (wtf??)
Miami: 9 (wtf?)
Golden State: 8
Philadelphia: 7
------------
Charlotte, Indiana, Milwaukee, Minnesota, NY, Sacramento: 0
Atlanta, Clippers, Memphis, NJ, Seattle: 1
Toronto: 2 (disrespectful)
------------------

So: 12 teams will be on national TV a total of seven times.
Four teams will be on TV a total of 99 times.

I can't wait until some of those teams disappoint, and get their TV time taken away.

Wait...that happens, right?

Miami: 9 (wtf?)</div>
That's what happens when you get the #1 and #2 picks in the draft.

Stern goofed that up. Every game on the 15th lists an arena that makes no sense. Dallas is playing Houston at TD Banknorth. GSW playing final home game at Staples. Stern f(&*^ up.

Didn't it happen to us last year? I'm having visions of a Nets-Cavs game getting pulled from ESPN
