2004-05 Stats at a Glance
ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The New Jersey Nets try to break their five-game road losing streak when they face the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

Despite another triple-double from Jason Kidd, his 61st, the Nets lost to the Dallas Mavericks for the 10th straight time, 98-93, on Saturday.

Kidd scored 10 points, with 11 assists and 10 rebounds, while Vince Carter led New Jersey with 29 points. The Nets, last in the Atlantic Division, have lost eight of 11 since they acquired Carter from the Toronto Raptors.

Dallas used an 18-3 run in the fourth quarter in handing New Jersey its fourth consecutive loss overall.

Atlanta remains in last place in the Southeast Division, but has won two of its last three games, including Saturday's 103-95 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

Al Harrington scored 13 of his 22 points in the first quarter, in which the Hawks shot 62 percent (13-of-21) from the floor.

In the last meeting between the teams, the Nets ended a seven-game road losing streak with a 95-90 win on December 11.

Richard Jefferson and Travis Best scored 21 points each for New Jersey, while Antoine Walker led Atlanta with 25.

The Hawks own a 47-15 home record against the Nets.

xpehbamxyu's Prediction:
The Nets should win this game consideing that the Hawks are not having a good season. However the Nets are shorthanded and their big men will get in foul trouble. I therefore say, mostly inorder not to jinx the Nets, that Hawks win:

72-69.
