The Nets acquired Robinson on Feb. 14 from the Golden State Warriors for two second-round draft picks. He played in 29 games, averaging 6.0 points and 3.3 rebounds. He averaged 7.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in four playoff games against Miami. </div>

Well, this is just evidence that the Nets are very confident in thier abilities to draft a desent big man in addition to picking up a very good free agent. If push comes to shove however, the Nets may end up signing Robinson if no one else does so.

i just knew they will drop robinson! 5 Million for an 38 yr old veteran, not a smart choice. they know they can get a decent Big Man in the draft.

Seeing how the draft went, this move was probably in preparation for signing someone like Donyell Marshall, SAR, or Swift.
