It's so good to have this many good big guys. This is exactly what we need. Once we figure out what our best rotation is, I can't help but to think that this team is money.</p>

I love the Boone/Williams combo and hope they can get some time during the season outside of garbage minutes.</p>

It's nice to have alot of bodies to throw out there and they all compliment the big 3 well despite their different skills. Hopefully by around the AS break we'll have a better idea of who's fortified a spot in the lineup and maybe then we could possibly turn two, or even three, good bigmen into an even better one to make an all out run at the finals.</p>

I think finally, we canfollow themode of Jordan's Bullsthis season, we have a lot of blue-collar big men, and also, we have the strong enough backcourt, I hope we can beat anyone on the road to the title.</p>

This might be the assesment heading into the season but once we run into San Antonio, Phoenix, and Dallas, we're going to be proved wrong. Lets face it guys, we should've been designed to defeat those teams this offseason, but unfortunately, Rod Thorn is thinking about the future and couldn't give a hoot if Kidd gets his ring or not. And I hate SA, PHX, and DA but the reality is, those are better teams then us. We have to find a way to compete with them and win the championship. It's time for a blockbuster.</p>

Where's this coming from? Rod figured the need would be to give the Nets more big man depth, get more big men with different skills to go up against all the different big men in the league. Would you say he completely failed at that?</p>

With the 6 big men the Nets have gotten, the idea behind that is that they'll be able to throw a different guy on these stars on other teams until something works. Let's say we're going against Shaq...obviously, we'll stick Twin on him the majority of the game, and be successful with that. And Curry...it'll be a combo of Magloire/Twin. With Dirk, we might go for a more quick and mobile big, such as Boone (?), Williams, or Allen. I believe this big man depth has more advantages than you're seeing.</p>

Had to quote that, same thing im thinking. We have enough diff't styles ofbig men to go up against diff't types of PF/C Superstars around the league, assuming we keep Allen of course. We have Twin and Magloire to mix it up with the power-style bigs. Allen and Krstic for offense to draw opposing bigs away from the basket to keep shotblocking bigs from stopping our wings. Boone and Williams for the quicker, athletic and perimeter guys. So I think our best bet is to go with a game by game, team by team lineup of bigs unless some guys just show they can play against all of em.</p>

More bigs= more fouls. That's huge help. 36 fouls to keep those superstars away from the basket. This year, win or lose, playing against theNets will hurt. </p>

We can throw a nice combo out there to meet needs. Toss Nachbar if we went small. Lots of options. It makes it easier when you have wings in RJ and VC. I think they need to use the bigs to make their jobs easier, screens, create, etc. I'd love to see if RJ and VC can exceed or match career highs in assists this season. Also the use of Krstic will help create so much more offense, running Krstic off a pick 20 feet out, or even to the 3 point stripe, create that threat, let scouts see it, let them add it to our report, need to guard Krstic out to stripe, will create so much more room in the paint......since the finals run teams.</p>

Hey... I don't post round here too much but have been followin this board on and off for a while.</p>

The frontcourt rotation sounds like it will be dominant, and keep us pertinent in the playoffs, and hopefully the finals. However, where is the depth in the backcourt? Between Marcus Williams injuries and Darrell Armstrong's age/health, it looks as if we might be in trouble if something happens to Kidd. We usually don't have to spell him for minutes, but he is getting older, just as we all do. And as far as backing up Carter and Jefferson, I believe Wright will come into his own this year. Other than him and Boki I am not too sure about the smaller positions.</p>

Finally, does Mile Ilic fit into the frontcourt rotation at all? I thought we drafted him to be a competitive center, and he has yet to see the light of day in the NBA. I thought this would be his year to break out, but it appears we went elsewhere for frontcourt help.</p>
