New Jersey Nets point guard Devin Harris will spend Sunday in Chicago to get his right groin examined by a specialist, reports the Bergen Record.
Harris is out for 7-10 days, but it could be longer, as he's beyond frustrated with the injury that hampered him during the preseason and has lingered into the regular slate.
New Jersey is already without Keyon Dooling until the end of the month, so their point guard depth is being tested here in the first week of the season.
Rafer Alston figures to continue as the starter while rookie Terrence Williams backs him up. The paper also suggests that Chris Douglas-Roberts and Trenton Hassell could play some minutes at the point, too.
