Headed the other way would be Marc Jackson and Jeff McInnis. Patterson has had a series of off-court problems, including arrests for attempted rape and domestic assault, as well as a recent on-court suspension for insubordination. </div>

I'm say it right now, I really don't want this guy at all.

Even with McInnis and Jackson not playing, they are worth more than Patterson.

The Nets cant get Antoine Wright time to play who's like 20 years younger than a guy there about to trade for and can virtually do all he does. It doesnt make sense to me.

If we have lost complete faith in Jeff McInnis to the point that we are willing to part ways, why send him in a deal for a wing...might as well use him as a pot sweetner in a possible deal for a bigman.

McInnis and Planinic for Tony Battie, sounds good to me. Orlando gets a young player in Planinic to help with their rebuilding. And a veteran pg with size, so then they can look to move Francis, who doesnt really fit with the direction that franchise is going in...and we get back Tony Battie the exact kind of bigman I think we need. And while he doesnt have the upside of a Wilcox or Swift, he is the much safer and more consistent option.

In a Nets Notes not online, Iannazzone reports that the Nets had considered sending Jeff McInnis and Marc Jackson to the Blazers. Iannazzone has never reported on the Blazers' level of interest in the Nets two off-season acquisitions</div>

Thank god.

Isn't Orlando starting Battie? I think they'd be more willing to give up Cato.
