I think that he will be packaged along with someone else (Perhaps McInnis or Mark Jackson) for a big man.

He was able to help keep the team in the playoffs last season, even with all the injury problems and a depleted lineup. And you can't forget his magical start to his head coach campaign in 03-04.

I can't really say fact or fiction.

It mostly depends on how this season goes. If it goes good then he won't be traded but if it goes bad then he might be traded.

If Kidd doesn't get injured he will once again prove he is the best point guard in the league now.
 
Fact: What Kidd does is amazing and he has proved it many times he can definitely prove it again.

Fact or Fiction: With teams like Heat, Pistons, Pacers the Nets playoff journey will end at the second round.
 
Even though the odds are against i always have faith in them so once again i can't decide wether it's fact or fiction

Fact: I think he will start considering it but I dont think he will retire depending on how good of a season the Nets have.

I still think VC is on a higher level than RJ. RJ will be very important to the Nets but VC will be more.

i agree with this and i think and wish that they'll really do coexist. Vince maybe the go-to guy for next 2-3 years and RJ as sidekick but after that it will be a complete 180, wit vince as sidekick & RJ as the main man. Only thru winning can this coexistence continue. So pray to the heavens we do get that athletic, big man and get to the playoffs and finals consistently.
 
ok theres no real question so i'll add on and yeah vc will still be our first option on offense and rj will be the second

VC will last as long as his athleticism lasts. We cannot forget the Jefferson is the franchise player here.

That's a tough one. I'll say fiction, he'll probably stay in Europe for another one or two years to get his body ready and skills polished for the NBA, taking Krstic as an example.

fiction. I don't really see it happening. I think Nets will not even think about trading until maybe next offseason. Unless a deal of Krstic and Vaughn for Garnett (totally impossible). Other than that i don't see any big trades happening.

Fact or fiction Having Vince Carter play for the Nets is better than Kenyon Martin and don't say Martin becuase of the hole in out PF postion.
 
I have to say fact Vince was an all-star before he even got to New Jersey and now with J-Kidd & R.J. he will be even more deadly. Martin wasn't able to create for himself like how VC was able to.

Fiction, I def. don't see him retiring before then. Him getting traded is more likely than him retiring though.

Fact Murray doesn't have much left in the tank and the Nets were better off getting some frontcourt help.

Fiction I don't think Kidd will be able to improve his rebounding with him getting older.

I think it will be less because Jefferson will demand shots and other players would want shots too so i think his scoring will decrease.

Nets will have a better season than Cavs and Pacers
 
Fiction I think the Nets will have a better record than the Cavs but not the pacers. The pacers have the best power forward in the eastern conference in Jermaine and they have the 2004 Defensive Player of The Year in Artest. They also have good cast of players in their roster and they also have good chemistry. The nets will probably take the atlantic and be at the 3rd seed and the pacers might be at the 4th seed unless they get a better record than the pistons.

Antoine Wright will be as good or better than RJ 2 or 3 years from now.
 
Fiction. First, Wright is a different type of player (he is less physical compared to RJ and is more of a shooting guard). And Second, he is not going to get as good of an oppurtunity to develop as RJ did. RJ was a huge part of the rotation in his rookie year. Wright may be a huge part of the rotation this year, but next year that won't change so long as Carter and RJ remain. Of course if either get injured, then Wright will get his chance.

Fact or Fiction.

Kidd will shoot 40% or more from beyond the arch (i.e. Three point field goal percentage).
 
Fiction. I believe his best year was in 97, when he shot around 37-38%. He shot well last year, but he's never been consistent from a year-to-year basis. He might shoot well, but not at 40%.

Fact or Fiction.
RJ, VC, and Kidd will average at least 5.5 boards apiece.
