6. How did you become a Nets' fan - Vince Carter was my favourite player and Jason Kidd was my second favourite player,so when Carter was traded to the Nets with Kidd,I loved it and was a fan ever since.

how you became a Nets fan: not really sure I can answer this right.. my first NBA experience was a Nets game on a school trip Nick Van Exel torched us I hated the Lakers

other team I root for: I loved the Knicks, still do but they aren't killing my love for the game of basketball, so I hope some people on this board understand my position I know as a fan you ride it out w/ the good and the bad, but they don't make it easy I refuse to support them until that whole organization gets rid of Dolan & the rest of his circus

Since I live in L.A., I go when they play the Clips and Lakes and once over Christmas usually 5. How long have you been a Nets' fan? Since about age 12 when they had Coleman, Morris, Kenny, Draz, etc. 6. How did you become a Nets' fan? Grew up on Long Island, didn't like the Knicks, and got Sportschannel instead of MSG network 7. Other teams in the NBA you root for? Clips 8. Other sports you enjoy? All except soccer. 9. What other sporting teams do you root for? Mets and Jets (my teams all rhyme!!) 10. What do you do for a living? Editor for Travel publishing company 11. If you are in or went to college where do/did you go? Occidental College, DIII school in L.A. 12. 13. Anything else you care to share? If Drazen didn't get killed and somehow got resigned, the Nets would have won the Eastern Conference Championship in 1994 over the Knicks, and probably beaten the Rockets. They also should've beaten the Bulls in '98 if it weren't for some injuries. I will always believe this!!!

Hey folks,

I was a member on the old board, checking in irregularly but lurking often. . . Went to the Nets-Wizards game in December (first one after the "migraine"), couldn't hold down solid food for a good while after watching the mail-in job by Kidd (Carter played great). Finally feeling better after the 20-million dollar stats-whore has left. (Yes, I do appreciate the several awesome years he gave us, but that does not excuse everything else. Once he stopped playing right, there was nothing to like about him.) Should be some rough going for a while, but at least the team will be trying. As for the questions:

4. yes i do go to games... umm this year... iv gone to the celtics, indiana, clippers, and got tickets for the utah game on the 15th, the hawks game on the 19th, the nuggets game on the 21st, and the raptors game on april 5th... (and any of my other friends that can hook me up

I'll go out on a limb and say that high-flyers are the ones who garner player-specific-fans (and wife-beaters! hiyo! hi Joker!)

In that case if Vince leaves try our Sean Williams du jour, stick around for our Stromile Swift, and stay for our Devin Harris.

7. Other teams in the NBA you root for? Honestly None. But if i had to pick one the Hornets because my gf is from Louisiana and we go there to see her fam. i catched the nets game agaisnt the hornets like 2 years ago.. we won by one i think 88-87 lol in ot.

8. Other sports you enjoy? Futbol or "soccer" my parents are from spain but i was born in boston and moved to jersey when i was 5. But im a fan of Real Madrid from spain, MLB Boston Redsox, NFL, The Jets and The devils NHL.
