Nets Among “About a Dozen” Teams Interested in Luther Head

Mark Bartelstein, agent for combo guard Luther Head, says the Nets are among “about a dozen” teams who’ve called about his client. “Kiki (Vandeweghe) just left a message,” Bartelstein said Sunday. Hours later, the Nets cleared a roster spot by waiving Stromile Swift. Head had been waived by the Rockets Saturday, permitting him to play in the post-season. The Nets also have interest in Quincy Douby.
