Nets @ Knicks

We are doing a pretty good job, but we cooled off in the 2nd quarter. We will need to continue play good defense and it will be easier for our offense. Post your comments about the game here.

You can't expect much out of Francis at this point with the Knicks, but I'm sure Larry Brown will be able to do something with this team at some point before the playoffs.

In the beginning of the game neither Franics nor Marbury wanted to shoot. They actually made it look like they cared about passing.

Is that a good thing? I was flipping through the Sonics and Knicks game, all the while my dad was stealing the remote behind my back to watch time-ins for Sunday's NASCAR race.

I honestly think Larry Brown will turn this odd little deal into a great thing. Two offensive-minded guards will learn to co-exist? Sure!

It's actually possible but I am pretty sure problems will arise soon. Either Larry Brown will have problem with them, or Starbury and Francis will start to feud. I remember reading that, Francis wasn't excited when he learned he got traded to New York.

I've said it before, I'll say it again:

Nate Robinson will be out of New York by next season.

Larry Brown might hang himself. Marbury might slay Francis and turn him into his slave. Francis might slay Marbury and turn him into his slave.

What's in store for the Knicks? Who knows...

As for Nate I think that as well. About 2 minutes ago I was wondering to myself, why I haven't seen him play today. The question is , who wants him? A 5'9 guard that will have problems on defense.

I wouldn't be surprised Phoenix made a run at him, and not only because he's a speedy little guard that's perfect for their system. I don't know if you remember, but the Suns took Robinson in the draft and traded him almost immediately to the Knicks. If not the Suns, Portland - they could use a small guy to play behind guys like Steve Blake (and alongside Telfair), and surely Nate McMillan wouldn't mind having him.

So... Phoenix, Portland, Seattle<font size="1">*</font>?

I doubt Portland would go for him. They Jack, Dixon, Blake, Telfair. It doesn't like they would want him. .....Ok let's not talk about Robinson , afterall this is the Nets forum. =)

The Nets played a great game and are keeping their streak going. Carter struggled but it didn't matter because Jefferson and Krstic back him up. BTW the last 3 point shot, I think shouldn't count. It looked like time was up while Francis still had the ball in his hands. lol Anyway here are the stats.

Umm Johnson got traded so I'm sure Nate will have to play PF. That is going to be as good as gold.

Hakeem Olajuwon, I mean Nenad Krstic was really doing his thing yesterday. No one could stop him. He almost had a Garden record going 11-11.
