MILWAUKEE (AP)—Brandon Jennings(notes) knew it was a gamble. So far, all the odds have been in the rookie’s favor.
Jennings made a swipe and slam past two stunned Nets during a 15-0 run to start the second half, Andrew Bogut(notes) and Carlos Delfino(notes) each scored 21 points, and the Milwaukee Bucks beat winless New Jersey 99-85 on Wednesday night.
“He saw the whole thing develop,” Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. “That was a big momentum break for us. It was a big steal and you got to see the little fella down there dunk the ball.”
Douglas-Roberts scored a career-high 31 points and had 10 rebounds, but the short-handed Nets have lost 12 straight for their longest single-season losing streak in more than 19 years.
“We lost. That’s the only thing that means anything to me. Wins and losses. We lost. I don’t pay attention to how many points and how many minutes I play,” Douglas-Roberts said.
New Jersey shot 9 of 38 in the second half after leading 48-41 at halftime.
Unfortunately, I can see their first win coming against us.
ugh bogut geting injured hurts my sim league.

I don't feel bad for their fans...they are looking at a good draft pick. And they think they'll get LeBron?
0.001 chance of him going there, with the team that they have.
Feel bad for their fans though, it must suck not being able to get a win.

It's funny that many Net fans were telling me that LeBron wouldn't want to sign with the Knicks because they sucked. They then said he would rather be with the Nets.
DENVER (AP)—In a season already full of losses for New Jersey, this might have been a new low.
Nets coach Lawrence Frank called his team’s performance “unacceptable” as it dropped its 14th straight game to start the season.
With Carmelo Anthony(notes) leading the way, the Denver Nuggets seemingly scored at will in a 101-87 win Tuesday night. All the easy baskets drew the ire of Frank, who went from jovial before the game to dour afterward.
“I’m very, very disappointed. Embarrassed,” Frank said. “I just don’t think we put our best foot forward.”
At 0-14, the Nets are creeping closer to the NBA record of 17 consecutive losses to start a season, which is held by Miami and the Los Angeles Clippers. New Jersey will play in Portland on Wednesday night, the second leg of a grinding four-game trip out West.
Who knows when this team will win a game. They are not doing a good job of taking care of the ball. They are just sloppy and not really trying to protect the ball. If they keep this up it will be difficult for them to get wins.
I saw the highlights for yesterday's game. They played so poorly with the ball, losing it badly.
Also no communication between the players. I like Frank but he needs to be fired, they need lot of changes.
You may have a point there. I had been giving him the benefit of the doubt considering the fact that they have had so many injuries. But it is inexcusable for a professional team to consistently be careless with the basketball and may be as much a reflection of the players as it is on the coaching staff.
The record looks like it'll be broken.
Maybe even the record for most losses in a season.
It's hard to even project. Frank should have been fired a long time ago, I think. But management probably wants to make sure they have everyone back for a few games so they can better justify his firing. How many losses will it take to get the coach fired?

It will suck for whoever goes in to take over coaching.![]()
