I read somewhere that we are at 57 million on 8 players for next season. Kidd, Marcus, RJ, VC, Krstic, Collins, Williams, Boone. So we have about 10 million to spend on 4-6 players. 2.5 for Wright would have been nice if he could put in 24 minutes a night 9-10 points in addition to his defense. Nets would probably have picked up the option. Quite possibly that rookie wing we sign (knock on wood, no injuries), may be the wing behind RJ and VC next year. 2 year minimum deal. Who knows we may resign Wright at a discount. Being under the tax, gives us a lot of options to work with. After 09, Kidd's contract comes off the books, opening up even more room. In hindsight Thorn's really done a good job keeping us competitive while not killing our salary structure.</p>
