Disappointed as hell.

Hopefully we get CDR with 21.

Great Pick. He will work extremely well with Boone(who's a better version of Robin) as well as Sean and Yi. The guy seems like a really solid character addition and an absolute steal at the 10th pick. Guys like him are a premium in the NBA...it's good to be a Nets fan today.

I'm also fine with this pick.

I love that guy, but is he really a good enough shooter?

The Nets need a real shooter.

He was suppost to be a top 5 pick. He is a big guy and we can use him. We can trade away boone and our other garbage C. LOPEZ WILL BE A BEAST!!

Not my favorite player, but he's 19. He can change.

The Nets definitely need a real center. I hope he turns out to be a big upgrade.

Are you serious or being sarcastic again, your a tough one to read.

I wasn't too high on Lopez a couple days ago but I've read up on him and watch some videos and I was impressed.

Not to sound too much like NI, but you could have worse days than getting two legit 7-footers with skills - neither over 20 years old.

I'm tired of staying positive. The Nets passed on a star for another Josh Boone.

Hm. Does the deal with the Grizz still have life?

His games drove me crazy, but he did improve his crappy attitude this year.

Um, no....The picks are nothing alike. One was the best rated center in the draft, and one was a project. I like Boone don't get me wrong, but he didn't even have close to the skill set of Lopez. And yes, i did want Bayless....bad....But whatever this is our choice and it's not a bad one in anyway.

Brook Lopez is only 19 and 7-foot. That ain't bad whatsoever.

Thing is, we passed up Bayless, and that stings.

It's tough, but these players are not finished products yet. Our opinions now are not written in stone.

Josh Boone had no ceiling. In fact, he's reached it.

They should have taken Bayless.

They better have some trades to clear out some bigs.

Jerryd Bayless could be a star...but he could also be a bust...besides he plays the same exact position as Devin Harris. Brook Lopez is big bodied center who has excellent offensive post moves, a positive attitude, work ethic. He was the best player available and we took him.

If you don't like the pick fine but don't be such a little bitch about it.

He really has the potential to be special. Ouch.

Here are some of his answers

Brook your brother just got drafted, what do you think about his situation?

Brook Lopez: I'm sure he's happy to be close to home. His girlfriend is from Phoenix, so I'm sure he's happy.

tanin (san francisco): Brook, what do you think about not playing with your brother for the 1st time in your life?

Brook Lopez: Not only that, but being on the opposite sides of hte country. I'm sure we'll use up all of our text messages! I'll just try to mimic his defensive prowess in New Jersey.

Charles (Bethlehem, Pa): brook are you pumped to play against your brother some day in the league?

Brook Lopez: Whichever team wins will be the one that gets the other twin to foul out.

george (charlotte): Brook, fess up, who's better as an all around player you or your brother?

Brook Lopez: I am. but ask Robin when he gets in here and tell me the answer.

Jake (Chicago): who got the better looks in the family?

Brook Lopez: Look at his hair! What do you think?

Dave (Los Angeles): Hey Brook, are you excited to play with Vince Carter?

Brook Lopez: My friends have always admired him as a kid being one of the best players. He's just tenacious. I'm excited to get on the court with him.

matt (new york): The nets have a lot of big men, how do you think you fit in?

Brook Lopez: I'm just going to focus on defense and do the dirty work. Get on the floor and get some floor burns.

Brook Lopez: Thanks for all the support

I hope we see some trades to clear up the frontcourt clog.

We have a lot of bigs and no SF right now

ESPN Draft Chat with Brook Lopez:

is up next!

Wang (Houston): Brook what do you think about falling so far in the draft?

Brook Lopez: I'd say I really came in hoping that I would make it to the NBA. I'm just eager to get in and play basketball.

Cory (Valencia, CA): Brook your brother just got drafted, what do you think about his situation?

Brook Lopez: I'm sure he's happy to be close to home. His girlfriend is from Phoenix, so I'm sure he's happy.

Buzzmaster: Thanks Brook!

We have a SF............................................................................. in 2010 lol

I like that he keeps talking about his defense even though he has already been picked.

Honestly I think we only have 4 players in the frontcourt...Boone, Swat, Lopez and Yi...Krstic and Diop are probably goners and Swift is really just an expiring contract/trade asset.
