Netscape

I recently got an email from my paypal account (legit) saying that I had changed my password. Because I had actually changed it, I didn't have to worry about it. But I noticed that one of the acceptable browsers to access the "secure" site was "netscape".

I had always thought that mozilla had become netscape?

No. Netscape is another browser that was here before Mozilla. It fizzled out though.

I think there's still a netscape browser available. Netscape went under and was sold off in pieces to various companies like AOL. Firefox is the open source version.
