Now Netsdaily doesn't advertise sportstwo forum.... just like that it changed their mind to advertise here instead of another site.

Is NetIncome the owner of Netsdaily? So he is upset about here, then he changed the link to his own forum.
 
Heck, I'd move to the forum where the posters like GMJigga and Co post regularly. I'm still bitter about their suspension. For me, Sports2 became Sad2 since their ban and with the invasion of certain player fans who know shit about basketball.:( Happy F***ing New Year. I'm wasted.

Yea i used to show up here to talk about basketball with people who would make at least somewhat reasonable arguments or had some kind of idea on how the game is played whether i agreed with them or not. These days it's flooded with horrible arguments by certain posters that make absolutly no sense.....even better, when you try to argue something you now get called racist....awsome..

Can you tell me why the hell they got banned? Some of them were the mod of this forum?

e.g.: GMJ ? cpawfan ?

or they banned themself?

NetIncome is not the owner of NetsDaily. He is just an employee.

I have really enjoyed joining in on this board, but now I really don't understand.

There is just too much subtlety going on here. Can someone answers a few questions?

1. Who owns NetsDaily? Is it Dumpy? It is a great site and well respected by many.

2. Who got banned here and why?

3. Who made the decision to start a new Nets board and why?

4. Who is leaving and why?

I'd be happy to hear anyone's explanation.

I only feel comfortable answering the first question here. The person who owns NetsDaily prefers to remain anonymous, and we respect his or her privacy. NetIncome is an (unpaid, of course) employee, and deserves a lot of credit and thanks for his efforts (along with the owner of the site, which goes without saying). I am a sometime contributor, along with several others.
 
Basically Kid Chocalate, War Poet, GM Jigga, etc. all got banned for repeated toilet humor, in some sort of package deal, then they searched out options for creating a new Nets board, and Netsdaily is what they decided on.

You guys should put a link to http://dabullz.com/ on the blog page under the Bulls section.

I tried to flush some answers out in the feedback forum:

Denny can run the site how he chooses to, but some Nets posters didn't like his management style, and the resulting tensions led to some mods stepping down. Also, it caused some posters from the community to act out a bit, and it led to them (in a lot of people's opinions) unfairly being banned from S2.

There was a some behind-the-scenes drama, but a lot of people have put in a lot of hard work to create a new home for the vibrant community of message-board frequenting Nets fans. I think they've done an amazing job, and I'm just happy that we can all post in the same place again.

Yeah he... uh... he pretty much runs NetsDaily these days. So good luck avoiding him.

NI's a bit like a fishing store that's just reopened after two weeks. There's a lot of good stuff there, just don't take the bait.

Well i wasnt really referring to him, it was more in general, usually i like Netincomes posts because their well thought out and actually have substance behind his arguments. I'm more talking about people who are fans of one individual person and call you racist when you say that he stunk in tonight's game.
 
Now I know the controversy a bit.... Somehow I support to the Global Moderators. In fact, I think some of the ex-Nets posters were really arrogant, even though they were the mods of Nets board, but I am really glad to see that the Global Moderators banned them.

It wasn't the global moderators. Most of us were against it.

It was the Admins.

Is it that Admins > global mods > mods ?

If you are so glad they are gone, why did you join the forum where they are all moderators?

These terrible people who you don't want around you post in every thread there and run the site.

For the last couple weeks, Netsdaily has been completely freezing up my browser every time I go there. Anyone else have this problem?
