I just learned Remix coach Jim Moran took an assistant job with Sacramento. The fans who hoped he could replace Billups someday, have now been demoted to the troll list. Contract extension for Chauncey is imminent. The ping pong department approves this message.

...maybe Cooper's dad wants to be an assistant too :dunno:

"This Guy" must be really good. You don't even have to say his name.

Michael Malone is having problems with Denver ownership. Can we trade local Denver hero Chauncey for him?

So here’s what interesting let’s say we trade coaches with Denver……
Malone wins 21 games with us, is he all of a sudden a shitty coach?
Chauncey wins 58 games with Denver….. comes 3rd in COY race, is he all of a sudden a good coach?

Thats what cracks me up about this place…..

Coaches ain’t shit but chemistry teachers , it’s the talent level that matters.

First of all home slice...coaches mold teams into contenders...especially championship coaches. I'm guessing you flunked chemistry? If Malone is available, you get him ...Chauncey is a lame duck coach right now unless he gets an extension...not sure he wants one at this point. So far our rookies haven't risen to the top under Billups...Stotts did a better job developing rookies.

So wait? Every time i even mention trying to win on this board i get slammed but now you want to trade for a coach that would do the exact same thing and get all the credit for tanking this year also.
If they happen to get a #1 pick this year with Chauncey is he a great coach? If they got Wemby two years ago and kept Lillard would he be a great coach?

the Grizzlies might fire their Coach if the players goof off and Memphis crashes. If Taylor Jenkins becomes available, then hopefully it will end Blazer fan debate on the importance of bad coaching.

Coaches are neither worthless nor masterminds--they are a piece of the puzzle. Great talent without properly complementary coaching will fall short of its potential. Great coaching without solid talent will not be able to see its vision executed properly. You need both to succeed.

What if you have Lebron?

Pretty sure if we get a number one pick this year under Chauncey the number one pick will do pretty much exactly what they would do without Chauncey.

Chauncey ain't the answer.

But if they had Lillard because they got the #1 two years ago and picked Wemby Billups would be a great coach? Got it!

So it's the chemistry. But also the talent. So if there's good chemistry does that mean the players suddenly got more talented? And was Boris Diaw not talented in Atlanta but suddenly talented in San Antonio, by magic (because it's not the coaching)?

BORING! You're certainly no Stephen A. Smith.
