Nothing against the guy but I don't see how the Yankees can consider this as an improvement over Long.

As much I hope the powers to be, don't take Ibanez seriously for a Hitting Coach. Yeah, Raul could hit, but can he teach others to hit???? I really doubt it....

The problems with the Yankees goes way beyond what a hitting coach can do. Because IMO a hitting coach is nothing more then a band aid being put on something that needs a freaking bandage.

Who would you like to see as the new Hitting Coach, if all current Coaches or Mgr's were available.

I would of liked to of seen Molitor come over, but he just got the promotion to Twinkies Mgr. I wish him well, other than when playing the Yanx, of course.

Molitor was one of the more classiest players, along with his buddy Yount.
