Because it mentally breaks down Carter. With Kidd gone, Carter takes on the role of a leader, more or less. If he's struggling, we're screwed.

Thats what I thought, but the ESPN boxscore says he got a block. no minutes or anything else, just a block. You can never trust ESPN.

You can't really say Marcus has been bad, the whole team besides Boki has been terrible. he's been more or less our 4th best player in this game after Boki, Krstic and Armstrong.

The whole team is probably drunk now anyway, celebrating that Kidd is no longer on the team.
