Seems to me that a school could incorporate those items into a lesson about the importance of the separation of church and state.

The funny thing to happen would be if teachers actually taught lessons from the bible, and the kids learned empathy for fellow people, instead of conservative politics, and the kids actually turned out ok.

Maybe they can teach the story in which children mock a prophet and bears come kill and eat them. That will sure keep it first graders in line.

It's funny. They ban all these books and then force the bible into schools. The Bible contains all the same things they supposedly banned the other books over.
