I have always loved the product that Square soft/enix have delivered. From Secret of Mana and Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars to the Final Fantasy series (FFX being by far the best). I don't know how many hours I have played on FFXIII yet but I still feel like the game hasn't really started, but the battle system is much better than FFXI.
 
Just wait till you get too Pulse (25 hours in)

I assume you have played chrono trigger as well? classic
 
My kids will be excited to hear that new maps might be available. Hopefully I can figure out a way to download them without a Live account.

Dissapointing to read that Bad Company 2 doesnt have a local multiplayer option.

Yes, that does seem very strange -- Especially for consoles.

I could be wrong but I think you have access to the marketplace with a Silver account (which is free) You just would have to pay for the download.

I hope it isnt too much of a pain in the ass to download since I dont have a paying xbox live account.

I'm pretty sure you should be ok. I think it just has to be a silver account.

I'm lazy and hate having to unhook the xbox, bring it downstairs and hook it up to our internet, then hook it up to a TV (probably use our pc monitor), then log in to xboxlive and figure out how to download.

I did it to get the updated Madden rosters many months ago so there is hope for me. :)

I need to just have my kids fork over the $$$ for a wireless adaptor and xbox live account. :ghoti:
 
I downloaded the new maps last night. My kids said the new maps are really cool. I havent played yet.
 
just ordered BF2 on ebay.. hope it is worth it.
 
Got it in the mail today.. I must say guys.. so far I'm Meh.
 
I'm not sure if the "Stimulus Package" is worth the money, but I bought it anyway. Unlocks on the 4th!

oh PS3 right? Yeah they are decent.. hopefully you'll get a double exp weekend like 360 users did.
